Hi guys, just looking for a rough idea of how much this would go for? (I actually have two, but only got one out of storage for photos)

Boots up to linux fine, dvd drive works fine, seemingly all good. One hard drive was dead though so had to ask a kind person on here to provide me with some Performance Analyzer HDD dumps to get it back up and running, but other than that it is all good.

And it's a nice pretty blue colour!

Excuse the fingernails, not mine. My wife's. :p

In the UK, so in pounds preferably. Thanks.

In physically and functionally good condition, recently I've seen TOOLs going for around $300 - $350 USD (so basically 245 - 285 GBP) but prices seem to fluctuate a bit, especially if the sale is outside of eBay.

Sources: recent Yahoo Auctions listings, as well as a friend of mine getting a TOOL for $400 AUD (246 GBP).

Yeah, but are they the T15000 model? I went as far back as I could through A-G's marketplace and other threads and have come to the conclusion that these are quite rare. It isn't the standard T10000.

Oh whoops, didn't notice that. Disregard what I said then I guess, unless both models are functionally identical in which case I don't really see why they would be priced differently (unless someone was intent on having that certain model).

It most definitely isn't functionally identical. I have a normal T10000 aswell and the T15000 is packed with more stuff internally. Not to mention it's original price from Sony was quite different to that of a T10000. I can't imagine they'd get away with charging more for the same thing, even if it is a pretty blue colour. (Although i'm sure they'd still try, haha)

The T15000 is definitely an upgrade to a regular TOOL.
It has additional capabilities to monitor various chip's load and idle times, hence the name "Performance Analyzer".
Though I'm not sure of its use to anyone these days :)

Unless your TOOL has the T14000 installed, the 2nd HDD is usually connected to the AIF and has no use in any such TOOL. Which HDD failed?

The first drive failed. I was aware the 2nd one didn't really do much, but I had vain hopes of it being like the original T10000's and having a spare copy of the O/S on which it of course did not, hence the need for some images to fix it. It's all good now though!

The second drive is used as the hdd in the expansion bay of retail units.
As for the price, mine in bad cosmetic condition is worth scraps apparently, so yours should be worth more than a T10000, maybe twice the prices posted by DeChief.
It's hard to put a definite value on it due to the very limited number of 2nd hand sales...

So, roughly 500 pounds-ish? Maybe a little more if i'm lucky? I'm looking for a Slim 360 XDK. Maybe someone fancies a trade if i'm lucky as I have two of these laying about and only want to keep one. :)

The Performance Analyzer is one of the most amazing pieces of game development equipment I have ever used. It was released late in the life of the PS2 and the level of detail in the analysis is really incredible compared to pretty much any other development kit I used in my career (I used many). It is way, way more rare than the regular T10K, I would say at least $1000, just my opinion though.
