Hi Guys,Ive been a larker here for a long while now.
    This is my first post,
I'm Andrew, I'm a game collector, I don't own anything super rare or anything like that.
however I'm always on the look out for anything Sonic Cd or Sonic Xtreme related.

Been working on 2 projects since 2006.
Sonic CD remix : An HD sonic CD remake in 3D with additional zones and new areas to explore.
    and
    Sonic Xtreme ( Project AXSX):
If anyone has any additional recourses to share, to help my projects along, it would be much appreciated.
For AXSX mainly looking for new textures not released by Chris Senn, or other media.
and for CD, looking for anything related to lost zones or bonus stages.

Here are a few vids and screens from my projects.

    SonicXtreme video:
Textures seen in the demo are modified to look like winter from the ones released by Chris Senn.
other textures not shown in this video had to be made from scratch using magazine scans as reference.

GHZ 2.5D ( yes everything is a 3D model down to the plants and trees)
This is the low detail zone used as a place holder for the Sonic CD remix project.
( u know to tweak physics and stuff)

Any help getting access to these resources would be very appreciated! and would be kept confidential!

some updates! Mainly a test level that was constructed to tweak gameplay and make it feel as classic Sonic like as possible.
There are a few tidbits of real stages tossed in for fun.

And this one here (Redsands), which is older than the above video.( it showcases one of the .def file reconstructions that I've done)
Additional gameplay elements were added to the stage like breakable blocks, secret areas, and platform timers triggered by switches.

The .def file leak for the main level structures really helped a lot in reconstruction of many of the regular levels.
so far I have re-built over 45 levels ( most of which seem to be initially incomplete or feel like test levels, even so they will be included as playable un-lockables)
along with the original official levels there will be new custom stages for project AXSX.
The level engine is almost done and boss engine will be started next, Its to bad that none of boss engine content had been leaked.
I don't mind re-creating many textures from scratch that were not leaked (as has been done with many) but it would kick so much ass to be able to get ahold of more official textures. Would be willing to pay for these if given the chance.

For a little more info on the project check out this little AXSX history post that I had written up.

fantastic work you are doing with this project. While I can't say I really have any interest in Sonic Xtreme I can tell that you've sure put in a hell of a lot of effort with this remake. Good luck in finding what you need to complete the game.

    Amazing work.

If that ever got ported to Saturn that would be the icing on the cake (I know that's never going to happen BTW - just thinking out loud!)

I wasn't aware that we didn't have all the textures when the levels were leaked. Crystal Frost is my favourite if you have that and could post a video of that it would be awesome. It does look a bit hires though, what res are you running and what does it look like if you lower it? Not sure if the original videos would have been 640x480 or 320x200.

Since this is running in UDK you can set almost what-ever res you like. I'm running he game in 1440P. Crystal frost is done already but you'll have to wait for the video. I don't want to show everything all at once now. :p Some textures that we don't have are mainly for boss stages, and a few levels shown in the E3 video and magazine scans.

Red sands tunnel (I like to call it) from the E3 promo video (although it was really Sand gully zone according to Chris Senn) is one of such areas that the textures had to be remade mostly from scratch.
Graphically, Everything seen in the project isn't as authentic as I would like it to be. ( although I feel happy with how close I got.)

I don't know anyone with mad Saturn programing skillz . Also it would be easier to start a new engine from scratch than port UDK over to Saturn since
there is no UDK source code access. But yeah, I wish there could be a Saturn port too !

Ah, yeah I guess I somehow did not pick up on that. Is there a reason you are using UDK or is it just easier to make a game for as opposed to, like you said, making a new engine from scratch?
