Ah, those were added after the fact to this one since it sits on my shelf. Sorry, I forgot to remove them. This one arrived to me quite incomplete so I've added a few parts to it.
Oh, sorry bro! I wasn't trying to call you out there, just thought it was some odd revision they did for some reason. MS does weird shit like that all the time so I figured why would mock ups be any different?
Could be worse! This guy wants $250 for his, least you only paid $100! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Prototype...1156706123?pt=Video_Games&hash=item2585b02f4b
Hmm, just checked out an unopened glossy and matte version and each has the HDD tray but no cables or connectors.
Mine may have had the tray, its been years since I tore down the one. My other in unopened in box. But I used some parts like outer shell on an rgh to give it an xdk look.
Even if they become rare to the point you have the last remaining one, I can't see there being any value in it.. Two people with lots of money would need to want to own it before it would be worth anything.
People can charge what they like, sadly some jerkoffs will fall for price or just hand the money over for it.
That's not bad. I remember when these first hit ebay, I paid $120 for one. I was really pissed once it arrived and I found it was a dummy. But bad ebay pics and not knowing much about the dummy slims at the time was the cause of the over pay. The phat's at least said they were display pieces only, why they decided to mark them all as "prototype" didn't make sense until this decal showed up. Perhaps before heading off to Ikea, the intention of these were just mock ups to be internal pieces. Who really knows?
Here is the Xbox One with one... also you said that that matte black slim dummy was made in 2012 or 2011 forgot what you said and up. But as you can see the pic on mine says 2010 maybe that's why you have not seen it on yours as yours in 2011 or 2012 , 2013.
