    Hello Everybody

I was recruited here by Reddit, where some people told me you are the ones who can bring light to the more obscure articles...
    Well, here is my baby.
With Box, docs, cables, 1 controller midnight blue, unused. + 10 millon "1200" controller with the texture of the Yaroze one + Silver Memory card (10 millon everything).
Along with the price check....I would like to know if somebody can clarify somethings about this unit.
I was reading the few articles I can find about it...And this specific model of the 10 millon, the JP one is kind of interesting, I could read in some places, not confirmed, that this model is able to run games of all territories.

One polish web page (traduce by google translator said something like. Japan was working in a Worldwide model (reason of the "W" in the system") but finally because maybe legal issues etc couldnt make it and make three differents model by terrotory. This console is unused...dont want to try but in that article they said something interesting:

    1- COnsole came with transformers.
2- Range of voltaje is kind of prepare for different regions.
3- Word "Tentative" written in the docs
4- Docs also in english (Stupid is the market is the japanese where usually only find jp language)

I know is now only a price check but maybe bringing light to this issue is also a clue to understand better the price of the machine.
    Thanks to all.

You might've already seen it, but in case you didn't, here's an old thread about a loose one w/ parts missing. Yesterday's leftovers when compared to yours. Box, paperwork and all... Me jelly. Only that silver memory card sticks out like a sore thumb.

From another thread, @TriMesh would probably know more and @Ed Hunter

Thank you very much for your Answer and the links to Threads.
So it came more clear like this model can run ANY region games but not "Copies"
Regarding the price still dark area...One sell a loose one 1.100$ in Ebay, others give a value of 750euros a Brand New one, do not know if that one also include the Memory card and Yaroze type controller.

I believe the console came with a controller, you could also get a controller by itself as well as the memory card. There is an image on this site that has the advertisement of the 3 products, just can't find it right now.
Other threads while I continue the search..

Price is hard, in the above thread I think someone mentioned 3,000 units.

Yeah, the basic deal is that the SCPH-700W is like a Yaroze in terms of what it can boot and the other versions (PAL and NTSC:U/C) are identical to retails apart from the case. You also have the strange situation where the PAL and NTSC:U/C variants are less common (since they made fewer of them), but also much less interesting because they are purely cosmetic variants.

I really have no idea about the price - I sold mine (which from the look of it was in very similar condition to the one you have) for EUR 600 - but that was about 10 years ago...

Yes, the console itself came with a midblue controller but the yaroze type (the black type you can see in the pic) it came in a different independent box, as well at the memory card. No inside the main box. So kind of you maybe can find the console with box but without these "extras".

And as they said in the other thread, in your pic you can see the docs of Sony in japanese, 100 for each región, but as somebody said, maybe for this one made a bit more planning to make a worldwide unit before release

I don't think there's any price history for something like this. I know what I would pay, but I'm sure someone would pay more.

You best bet would be to post it a few places then do a 7 day ebay action...

That was what I was told, and the guy that told me it definitely worked for SCEI at the time those machines were made. He also said that SCEI only officially distributed 100 of them and he has no idea what happened to the others - but for a long time they were just sitting boxed up in the office.

$1500 top money. Hard to sell, gamers don't have that kind of money.
