PS1 CLONE FOUND!!!!!!

after years of searching i've finally found a legit clone of the PS1 on ebay

 

I wonder if the internals are just a PSone

Edit: Yep, Treamstation. Same as the Treamcast.

Yeah, GamedoctorHK had one of these. Not a bootleg or a clone. Like Borman said, it's a Treamstation instead of a Treamcast.

Really ? I can't find it on ebay and I was assuming that the price would be similar to the Treamcast which sometimes does go for about $300. This is the first time I have seen this thing, so that's why I think that it's extremely rare.

 

Is it region-free like the Treamcast?

Well gamedoctor will be gamedoctor. I see them every so often here. They go for about $30-$40. They weigh a ton so shipping would be more than the unit.

 

I have a feeling it's the same one, or maybe they all discolour like that from the top

It's a repackaged regular PSone modified with an LCD screen. Nothing more.

It was like $200 back in the day because...well, a PSone with LCD screen with $100 until 2004/2005. Add in the cost of the modchip + modding done at a factory and yeah the price doubled.
