I've used the MM3 12F629 port from Eurasia before and I can tell you it works but I've never tried it on that board specifically.

This code also works great on psone scph-101 board pm-41 (2)

I did give your mm3 port a try but nothing. Posable the diagrams are wrong.

Thank you now my imports are working great.

Glad it worked for you and thanks for posting your results.

As for my MM3 port, it's probably either a diagram or wiring issue or something else as opposed to the port itself because you said you couldn't get the MM3 port from Eurasia to work either which I know works.

Thanks for supplying these. I'm a little late to the show. I have a US PSOne with a pm-41 (2) (A) board and I can't seem to get Mayumi working on it. I wrote the image to a 12F629 that I had lying around and installed it using the supplied diagram and found another post that suggested a different point for Pin 3, which also didn't help.

I used my multimeter to test that all points are registering continuity back to the chip and I verified that I don't have continuity to nearby points on the board due to a sloppy soldering job.

The system just acts as it normally would and loads up retail games, but rejects any backups indicating that a PS1 disc should be entered.

I've tried other hex files for MM3 and such, but not luck with those on this system, either.

I did successfully get MM3 installed with a 12F629 on a 5501, so my rom burner is successfully writing to the chips.

For the record, my rom burner is a GQ-4X, and the code is verifying successfully after being written.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Just to rule out a bad chip, I burned a 12F683 (don't have any other 12F629s). With this chip installed, the PSOne won't boot any discs, even retail. I verified I'm using the hex for NTSC-U (SCEA).

Thanks @Mord.Fustang :) Your work is appreciated!

@goblinking I remember having issues with the GQ-4X and some 12C508A chips, they just never burnt correctly. Moved over to the MiniPro TL866CS programmer and no issues - worked first burn! Who knows, maybe by now whatever was wrong has been fixed or was a problem only for a select few. I know @Bad_Ad84 probably hasn't had any issues - but he is just a whiz kid! :)

IIRC, the gq-4x wasn't using configuration bytes from the hex, you had to set them manually each time. May have been fixed by now, but I only have my elnec and a tl866 now.

Brother, how are you, I am a player from China, I take you out of the United States, Europe,, version of the direct reading experiment, specific experimental models have, 5501,7501,9002. The machine can work normally, and has stealth capabilities, but the only day version of the machine is not available, I tested 7000 and PSone100, specific circumstances, after the past the diamond logo, drive motor speed up, but I can't enter the playstation logo, direct access to management, but Japanese version machine burning can read the Japanese version of the game. Hope you can modify the version of the direct reading. (I'm through the translation software to translate these words, may be some words, unlike you, please forgive me, thank you)

If you are trying them on a Japanese console, they won't play imports even with a modchip. Need to use a boot disc or patch the isos

I wonder if, 12 f675 can only support the PSX America and the euro host, does not support the PSone and PSX day edition host?

Made a euro Mayumi v4.0, can run successfully in 9002, but can't work normally in the PSone 102 PM - 41

Mayumi v4 works on PAL SCPH-102, but wont play imports because of a bios check.
You can use the ONEchip hex on a SCPH-102 which will play everything.

However, when using the 12F629 port, I found I had to use a decoupling cap to ensure it was stable. While its best practice anyway, I have never had this issue on the 12x508/9 chips.

I try to use 12 c508a burning ONEChip, but it is not successful, can use 12 f508 instead?

In addition, I would like to know, PSX game a patch can be provided to me? Backup (SCPH - 7000, can only play the Japanese version of the game, I want to pass the patch to SCEA and SCEE operation of the game

I can confirm that it works well on scph-9000. I will surely add that great piece of work to my collection. Your work was really helpfull to me, you have my deepest gratitude. Thank you.
Now, there is no need to search and buy old 12c508 (one time unrewritable - I have screwed them a lot cause of my k150 programmer). 12F629 SOIC-8 is easy to find and they are REWRITABLE (have to made about ten bad write in operations on k150 to write OSCAL as it should be).
P.S. And yes, I do know that there is a 12F508 also might be good, but it is more rare than 12C508 here(.
