hi members , i got a used CRT recently and was running a few consoles on it to see if its ok. I stupidly forgot to use my Stepdown Converter for my PS1 SCPH 9001 , and as soon as i plugged it into the mains it really smoked. I didn't fire it on just connected it to the mains , anyway the console still works but one or a couple of things should be replaced on the PSU.

the Nichicon has bulged and the Regulator ( 3 pin ) need replacing , they were hot after i opened the console and everything else was ok.

i need to identify the Nich so i can replace it i think its a 100 microfarad 200 Volt Capacitor , the Regulator unsure as i have not removed it. Im not sure i even need to replace it but the Cap sure needs replacing.

There's really no need for stepdown converters.
    Simply use a PAL PSU.

Yeah, the cap is 100uF, 200V - the other part you have the arrow pointing towards is a switching FET rather than a regulator, and if the PSU is still working it shouldn't need replacement. It's hard to read the numbers in the photo, but it looks like it's marked with "K2128" - which would normally mean 2SK2128 - http://www.semicon.panasonic.co.jp/ds4/2SK2128_E_discon.pdf

If it is, then it should be fine - that part is rated at 800V Vds max, and peak voltage from a 220V line is about 340V, so it would be well inside spec.
