Completely forgot that one, thanks for the reminder :katamari:. Adding to first post.

By the way, does anybody have the Quality Assurance discs mentioned in this manual?
    • SCD 4515 (Part No. J-250-407-3A)
    • SVD 4514 (Part No. J-250-407-0A)
    • SVD-E94075 (Part No. J-2504-118-A)

That's strange, as I thought I had tested them all. Which file are you trying to open?

Did you try to enter the password manually? Some browsers might omit the leading space when copying the password to the clipboard.

    Some additions.
As usual, you'll find the download links in the first post.

    Corrected phrasing.

There is an error in the first post, but I'm sure that SilverBull just didn't update it:

All registers are available, except for these registers:

    1. 0x058 Encoded Interrupt Priority
    2. 0x0CC DBUF Watermarks Register 0
    3. 0x0D0 DBUF FIFO Size Register 0
    4. 0x14C DBUF Watermarks Register 1
    5. 0x150 DBUF FIFO Size Register 1

DMA support is working and fully functional
, and the PHY can be accessed.

I would seed for all the files, just looking to get the Tool documentation.

Thanks for spotting :cool-new:. You are right, I really didn't update this post for a long time. I don't remember why I thought the PHY was not accessible; I have actually been using the PHY access register in Kermit from the start, to perform bus resets when DBGCORE gets loaded.

By the way, I think your list contains an error as well: 0x54 UBUF Receive Level is indeed accessible, at least from the EE and on the systems Kermit runs on. I use it to check for inbound data...

Glad to see you back in this post SilverBull :)
Any chance you can re-upload the documents in the first post?

A lot of stuff has been contributed by other members, and I'm not sure whether I downloaded everything that's linked here. I'll go and check what I have.Any suggestions where to upload? Seems sharehosters are dropping like flies, and I do not want to torrent anything for certain reasons.

The ones I've been using (though can't say how long my files will stay since I recently uploaded them) are: hotfile, 4shared, mediafire and uploading.com

Thanks, but they all seem to require an account (albeit free, but still... :concern:). I would really like to avoid that, for the same reason as I want to avoid torrents.

You're right. Well, I did just copy that list of registers from an old post at the forums ps2dev.org, after removing the registers from the list that were present (But obviously, I did miss the UBUF Receive level). D:

I've been documenting the IOP module API's and the DMAC's registers (Including our findings on DMAC #3), so do you think that would it be a good idea to add a link to my page once it's complete?

Mediafire doesn't require an account to download files. (At least, it didn't require me to log in when I last downloaded files from it's servers)
