SilverBull was talking about uploading files; and he's right, these all require an account for that. No account needed for download though, just like you mention.

I'll see if I can find one that does not require account for uploading; else I'll try to setup and FTP.

    @SilverBull
I can provide a temp ftp for you to upload the files you have, and then I can upload them to a file sharing site and share the links here.
Feel free to PM me so I can send you the FTP details.

Bloody firefox crashed when I was about to click "Post Quick Reply" with a huge post... here's trying to re-create it.

Re-uploading what I have as well as some extras.
In most cases I did not have the file as originally uploaded, so I compressed them on my own.

Password for all files: " @ASSEMblergames!com" (starts with a space; no quotation marks)

2001 Technical Reference Disc (includes the SPU2 Overview manual v4 mentioned in the OP) - credit: unclejun and LeGIt
I originally got it here that's why I also credit LeGIt; I would assume it's the same disc as the one shared in this thread :)

Although I'm sharing the ones from my UK kit, I'm sure they're the same as the ones originally shared.

I don't think I got these from the OP, but it should be the same files.

This is much appreciated. I'd offer more in thanks, but checksums are the best I have to offer. Cheers.

It seems like some of the files have been terminated again. :(

What does the "Serial Label Operating Standard" document contain exactly? Does it document something related to customer service like the procedure on how the consoles' serial numbers are to be handled when a console is received, or does it document something technical how the serial numbers are verified/generated?

I'm personally interested in knowing how the serial numbers are generated, as I'll love see what the serial number of a console can tell us about the unit itself...

    Thanks for the upload!

Well, the document talked about how serial numbers are handled by SCEE... but nothing about how they are generated/verified. Oh well.

Just being informative, the PC side software used by DVD-ROM Block Adjustment JIG procedure (for 2000-2002 consoles, up to SCPH-3900x) was leaked to the internet

Documentation for the SMAP (Ethernet) interface registers

As some of you may already know, the SMAP is somehow related to the Ethernet interface of the IBM PPC 405GP.

I've found the user manual for that device, and it does document the registers of the SMAP interface: http://downloads.codico.com/misc/IBM/IBM_Power_PC_4xxx/405GP_UserManual.pdf

The names of the registers are different from how we know them (if you compare the register names against those found in common/smapregs.h of the homebrew PS2SDK or smap.c of the PS2ETH PS2SMAP driver), but you can tell that the hardware is the same because of the bit definitions and names of each register bearing a little resemblance (e.g. TXMODE0 = TM0).

So yes, there is a Jumbo frame option... but the FIFOs aren't large enough to accommodate such a large frame. D:

I have hosts with unlimited storage. I can host all of the documents or software for future download if anyone can give me the files.
