    Intro silent hill pal work fine on internal HDD just try with another good rip.


    Ps: il faudrait que je récupére la liste des jeux testés avec cette dernière version de popstarter,si il y a des FR ici ce serait bien de faire une liste à jour ++

    I really want to play the Bugs Bunny Lost in Time game. Does anyone got any lucky figuring that one out?

    Gentlemen, I've patched some stuff and need you to try two things, since I don't have the consoles to test it myself :
    - PS3, in USB mode
    - DESR, in internal HDD mode [and SMB mode if possible]

    20170210_POPSTARTER.ELF

    It's a non-finalised ELF, just for testing, do not update your current setup to this proto.

    Hi king0026,

    I am currently in the middle of re-testing my whole collection on the newest POPStarter b17, so I will add the three games you have listed to this weekends tests and report back to you. :)

    To note my previous tests, I do not have any modes listed as working better than default to better help you with this, but I assume I tried them all at the time.
    I have Philosoma listed here in Notepad as not working, and FF5+6 both listed as working with audio/slowdown glitches... However I did not do complete play-throughs of any of the games in question... So if you have a VMC file I could use in the FF games (for me to try from where you are in-game, and attempt to replicate and/or bypass any issues) that would be very helpful (as I still do not have the time for a complete run).

    Any instructions to replicate what you are experiencing would also be helpful. ;)
    They will be re-tested by the weekend for sure.

    PS2SDK update, no core changes. It's been compiled under a hybrid environment which I set up to let me compile old projects as well as the recent homebrews.
    The only change I did, was to the PSX-specific launcher : All the POPStarter 13 builds use the boot rom based DEV9 module. This proto now uses the homebrew PS2SDK DEV9 module.
    Just want to make sure the libs updates and my bastardised patches to the DESR code have not broken something on POPStarter.

    Hello, I have noticed when i put a game disk in and get the iso to bin, there sometimes is 2 bin files such as resident evil 2, the 2nd bin file has nothing in it, can i just edit the cue file and use the first bin file?

    yeah most my games are coming out with 2 bin files,, what do i need to do?

    If the 2nd bin is just a dummy track with no actual data, yes I guess so. But I'd recommend you to merge the bins to a single bin, so your VCD files match the original games table of contents/index. Who knows, perhaps there are games that crash without it...

    Authoring demo discs with an extra blank track was a common practice, even though the said demos don't access it.

    Freeze on Loading Screen (nothing further happens even if you wait).
    
    NOTE:
    Tried playing it on PSP to create a save starting from Phase 2...
    However, the game doesnt allow saving in between missions...
    (only after beating the game, but even that doesnt allow level selecting.)
    
    Playable as is: NO
    Im sorry, but I couldnt find any fixes for the issues with any of these. :(

    Hi Fellas,

    I really like this Popstarter ! if i could get it to work ))))

    As far as i have been able to check every file is in the right place but when i launch a game(ELF) from OPL(build 896)
    my PS2 is doing something then returns to Ulaunch browser.,same result when launching VCD directly(v4.42e HDD khn).
    How can i check whats going wrong ? Debug application maybe>?

    I'm soooo close, i can smell it )))))

    i tried 2 games(renamed popstarter.ELF 2 times)))))

    Austin Powers Pinball - only the intro is working, black screen after that
    ATV - Quad Power Racing - intro + game working OK


    Why did they work now ?

    Regarding this video ( @ 1:05+ ):

    Can you tell me how to toggle compatibility modes on/off while in game, like in the video?
    Im currently performing tests on hundreds of games, and it is getting quite tedious when exiting/replacing patches/re-launching SEVERAL times per-game.
    Any help is appreciated. :)

    Ive noticed some inconsistencies between the game-sizes reported by others in your compatibility forms and the sizes I have to-report/have-reported...
    It seems people are reporting from three different size-sources...
    So I thought I would ask you here (instead of PM), as your response will ensure others will provide the correct information in the future.

    My question: From where do you want us to get our reported "Games-Sizes" ?

    Im including a picture below (of the "THREE" different sizes being reported to me through Windows)...
    The top line, is what is reported in FileExplorer, and also the easiest/quickest one to see/get as it appears next to the game in DetailsView...
    The two bottom numbers are when I right-click the file to get the PropertiesView.
    Which is the correct way for your reports, or does it even matter?

    Ive been cross-referencing my results with your own compatibility lists, as well as AlGollan84s...

    About the game BlasterMaster-BlastingAgain (1 of my top 2 favorite PS1 games btw)...
    You have it listed as "perfect" in your lists, but I note the same results others have had (a critical freeze-up issue preventing the completion of even the first level = around 10-15 minutes in, when activating the 4th tower which provides access to the base)...

    My questions...
    Have you truly played to completion?..
    Or am I correct in assuming you just didnt play it long enough to experience the issue?
    Should I try finding another one locally and re-ripping?..

    Notes: My physical disc has no scratches and was converted to VCD using the same Cue2pops version you indicated in your tests.

    Blaster Master - Blasting Again:

    For anyone wanting to play this game, Ive created a VMC savefile as a workaround for you...
    (saved right before the 1st boss in level 1 of the game = right after the 1st base and freeze-up location ;))...
    In two hours of play it did crash three times, so save often.

    Ill add it below for any interested. :)

    Eu demorei 7 meses para testar todos os jogos da lista, alguns eu testei por 10 minutos, outros por 15, etc. Pode ser que este jogo eu tenha testado por 10 minutos, sinceramente, eu não lembro. :)

    Yes

    It took me 7 months to test all the games on the list, some I tested for 10 minutes, others for 15, etc. It may be that this game I have tested for 10 minutes, honestly, I do not remember. :)
    For this reason, I put a text(PDF), explaining the test time of each game.
