Honestly, it's kinda like the wild west over there. As far as I can see, they rarely take down any content, which in a way is kinda nice (archiving), but obviously can be destructive too when you have a bunch of meth heads deleting splash screens and developer credit pages. I think CurbsidePharmacist would rather lock and move on than try to have a piss party because it would become too tedious for him to run around and make sure everyone is happy and nobody's butt gets hurt. I guess the best thing to do is to leave a trashy comments on yeshua's uploads, because honestly I doubt they will go anywhere. Similar situation happened with Xbox modder SPPV and lot's of bitter tastes and butt-hurting abound, and it didn't end well. It turned into a looooong thread with multiple admins from other sites coming to put in their 2 cents.

His OPL 0.9.1 "PLUS" is the same stupid sabotage. A binary hex hack of the official release, with all credits removed.
This time, the fake FMCB 1.8 is not more "compatible", not more "stable"... ...but more "flexible":stupid:.

For the LOLs, a quote of his fantasist announcement :
Oh Dear, now that's a psychiatric case...

What i don't understand is why in the isozone closed one of is own threads, (the previous
about OPL 0.8), and not this new, and the one about pops, why not banned from the site
after see what he is making with all this threads.
Would be the best if anybody can ban is IP from all the net to the hell.

I'm testing more games patched with the Libcrypt protection fixes, when i'm finish i post
    them to the compatibility list.

    Regards.

Since the moderator was annoyed by the legitimate reports, locked one thread, and the staff let yeshuachrist post his crap, I suppose that the isozone allows license violations and credit thefts against homebrew softwares... If so, then the board will lose in credibility, as yeshuachrist spreads a whole bunch of lies everytime he posts a message (concerning the FMCB 1.8 source code, his fake developer status, the so called anonymous persons who endorse and support his debranded stuff, the nonexistent improvements of his hexedited binaries...).

Even funnier that he is hex editing binaries of an open source piece of software that is really easy to build from source.
You don't even need to mess around with VM's to build it anymore.

Probably to much for him to find in the source were the name and OPL splash is controlled :witless:

Yeah, lol, considering that you don't even have to touch the source to change the splash image :p

l_oliveira: I trust you, and all of the other main PS2 devs at this point. I await it with baited breath. I get impatient sometimes but I know better than to pester the knowledgeable people who make this shit possible in the first place if I want to see the end result. I know there have been lots of good projects that were abandoned for scene bullshit reasons.

As an example of stuff I'm testing for SP193:

The specs are still being finalized. Once the menus and specs are decided we will have translators attack the menu options ! I bet a lot of Japanese users will happy to be able to use this stuff on their native language...

    It's SP193's alternative FMCB installer.

I added 16 more games to the compatibility list, 10 of them are LibCrypt protected
    games which i patched.
Most of the libcrypt ones works well, but unfortunately some still freezes like F1 2000 PAL
or UEFA Striker PAL, i don't know if the freezes are caused by the patches or just by the
    emulation itself.

And i encountered another of the few games in which the audio CD tracks not works,
is the game Super Pang Collection PAL (SLES_000.43).

Well this one is very curious because the CD tracks works partially, this game is a compilation
of three games, the first two games works perfectly with the audio CD tracks, but not for the
game Pang 3 in which the music is totally muted.

I tryed the Codebreaker as OSD replacement to hear the audio CD tracks and then
the tracks of Pang 3 worked well.

    Regards.

You are welcome, well just i remembered this thing about libcrypt from the past.

But according with redump.org this two games do not have such protection for the
NTSC-U versions, only for the PAL ones.

What says about Crash Bash NTSC-U is that this one have anti-modchip protection, not
the libcrypt one, and the modchip protection would not affect the game when
    is loaded from emulators.

And about Crash Team Racing NTSC-U do not have any protection, that's why there
is no patch for it, i think just the Popstarter fails to emulate it, because if you load
the same game in the ePSXe PC emu it works fine.

Libcrypt protected games fails also in ePSXe if are not patched, used the format of CloneCD,
or used the SIB files, then is better try first the games in the PC emu with bin+cue format
to be sure that it works, and second in the Popstarter.

    Regards.

You're right, Crash Bash has some other sort of protection which can be patched but doesn't affect emulation.

Some parts of the original website (geocities) can still be found through the waybackmachine here

    Edit:
    corrected some info.

As i said the NTSC-U version of Crash Bash have anti-modchip protection which don't
have importance for emulators, i loaded a NTSC-U version of the game in Popstarter
and worked without apply any patch, then probably you have a bad rip of the game
    or something strange.

The info in consolecopyworld is not to many accurate, check better also redump.org.

About the old list of geocities can be found here without having to use the waybackmachine.

Sorry for this two games seems are just not compatibles.

    Regards.

I tried the NTSC version of this game called Buster Bros. Collection and the same thing happens on the 3rd game called B. Buddies - no music tracks play while the other 2 games they do. Also when I went to exit the game with L1+Select+Start after playing B. Buddies, the emu froze on me.

On another note, the game Speed King aka. Road Rage (PAL) - the music does not play on either game, only sound effects. The Japanese game Circuit Beat is the opposite - no sound effects, only music. All of the games were tested with POPStarter Rev.12 and CUE2POPS_v2.0 and also with a BIOS.BIN too.

Thank you very much for your tests and reports buddies. Greatly appreciated, as it may help in updating CUE2POPS with game fixes and LibCrypt patches in the future:encouragement:.
I've read El_Patas's comment regarding The F.A. Premier League Football Manager 2001 [SLES-03061] in the compatibility list. Since it's not LibCrypt protected (according to Redump) and knowing that EA makes it's own antipiracy toys, I wanted to have a look at this game.
To be honest, I didn't try to locate what the protection looks for and send it valid data. Routines which display the software termination popup are simply NULLed by CUE2POPS for now.
The game seems to work (as I'm not familiar with this game, I didn't test it fully), but when I check the EA Mails for the first time, I get this in the inbox :

This one can be closed and deleted though.

Funny thing. Does it also happen with a scene patch/crack ?

Perhaps this discussion needs to be split to another thread, but this yeshuachrist guy is starting to piss me the fuck off. He's determined to spread his substandard, illegal corruptions of FMCB and OPL wherever he can. Saw this over at epforums. I've already posted there to dissuade others from using it, but is there really anything that can be done other than tracking him down everywhere he goes and attempting to reason with every single forum that he posts this shit on? Even worse, he's falsely claiming it to be based on 1.8b when it's clearly not, I unpacked his crap, the 1.8b installer, and the 1.7 installer, and it's much closer to the 1.7 installer including strings and many code and data matches, although things are shifted around so at least with FMCB it does appear to be a recompile and not a hex-edit.
