Alright, I've uploaded TROJANs for Metal Gear Solid v1.1 US and the three PAL versions of Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets, and renamed "Metal Gear Solid (Disc 1) (SLUS-00594)" to "Metal Gear Solid v1.0 (Disc 1) (SLUS-00594)".
Sorry for not making TROJANS for the Japanese and North American versions of Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets for the moment. The copies I've installed in my HDD won't run, the user RAM is filled with FFs and my debugger can't trace shit. It looks like the PFSshell copy has failed :/ .

POPStarter was made in a way it can be launched by another launcher that has an user interface (with several restrictions like the fixed paths of the VCDs/VMCs/POPS files...).
Since I'm a rookie dev and I never play with the GSkit when coding my stuff, I cannot make one. As you can see in my YT videos, I use a customized uLE build which is based off uLE_wip7 for launching POPStarter simply by selecting the VCD in its FileBrowser. My HDDs are entirely dedicated to the POPStarter things, so all I need is __mbr and __common partitions + __.POPS partitions. uLE is launched from the MBR and it loads its configuration file from __common/SYS-CONF/LAUNCHELF.CNF. My CodeBreaker ELF is in __common/SYS-CONF/ too, and it's modified for loading/saving its codelist from/to the root of the __common partition. After I activate the cheatcodes and select the launch game thing, CodeBreaker exits to the OSD (and the OSD executes uLE from the MBR).

My uLE mod is here : uLE_kHn_20141013.zip
Because I've teaked it for my own wants, I'd recommend you add the POPStarter ELF launcher code to the uLE clean source code and recompile it rather than using my precompiled crap. The launcher is the checkVCDstuff function in kHnStuff.c, and it's invoked in the function getFilePath (line 3405 of filer.c).
Things you'll probably dislike or HATE in my build are :
    - Default GUI colour settings aren't the official default ones
    - Default Network Settings aren't the official default ones
    - Disc stop is ON by default
    - No SMB
    - The uLE config file HAS TO BE COPIED as __common/SYS-CONF/LAUNCHELF.CNF (uLE WIP7 wants it to be copied in __sysconf/FMCB/LAUNCHELF.CNF IIRC)
    - The internal HDD gets powered off when the ELF you launch isn't in the internal HDD
    - Things I forgot, and perhaps EXTRA BUGS that aren't in uLE WIP7 (hence why I recommended you do your own implementation to the uLE WIP7 source code)
    - When you try to save the updated config (for instance, after assigning a launch key), you may get a Failed to save LAUNCHELF.CNF error. This occurs because the FileBrowser did unmount the __common partition. The solution is to enter the "Network Setting..." menu, go back to the general config menu and select OK to save.

The POPStarter ELF has to be copied as hdd0:/__common/POPS/POPSTARTER.ELF for the internal HDD operation mode, and/or as mass:/POPS/POPSTARTER.ELF for the USB operation mode.
Then you can launch VCDs directly, no more ELF renaming+copying needed.

That's actually pretty neat. All I really meant though is is there maybe something kind of like uLaunchELF designed to be configured to act as a menu. I know the PS2 isn't overflowing with homebrew and such, but it does still have enough to warrant a menu of some sort IMO.

Actually, when I next get a chance I need to check OPL's menus. I know it has some sort of menu for ELFs to be run. I've never had a use for it before.

Are there more of these PSX CD merging kits or can they be used interchangeably? I'm looking to merge the discs for Chrono Chross and Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere [NTSC-J].

For Tales of Phantasia, you have to use MODE 1 to fix the voice issues.

I don't think TROJANs are capable of fixing graphical glitches as those are faults in the emulation. I recall krHACKen saying something like that about the Ridge Racer series a while ago.

HDDOSD just uses the same type of icons as PS2 game saves. PSBBN however uses PNG files in a RES folder.
I'm not sure how to make PS2 icons for HDDOSD but you can try using MilkShape plus the ps2icon plug to edit or mod icons form your game saves.

P.S. Does anyone know if POPStarter r13 WIP2 add icon data on VMCs in POPS folder as its making them seen in HDDOSD, but as bad data. Looked in save folder it has a icon & info for it.
I'm thinking krHACKen is adding a way to remove unneeded saves in POPS folder on HDDOSD. It is a WIP so I'm thinking it just not done at this time.

The game crash bandicoot is stopping loadings in the following stages:

    Temple of Ruins
    Generator Room
    Jaws of Darkness

Some way to pass the loadings?

Just popped in to say, thank you for your hard work, Ver 13 is awesome.
This is not a complaint, just an observation. I have a PAL PS2 with internal HDD, using component cables, all my PAL games are centered and display at a constant resolution of 720 x 576, some have very small black borders around the edge. However when I play a NTSC game, depending what is on screen, a video, the main game or a menu the resolution will change between 720 x 240 and 720 x 480. Also the NTSC games have wide black borders down the sides and the top and bottom of the image are cut off.
As I said, just an observation, am still really enjoying this, again, thank you.

It's your TV. For Me PAL games have black borders and NTSC are perfectly fitted to the screen. I live in PAL region.

Awesome, thank you man! I'm guessing this is something thats already documented on the compatability list... but alas, no access. While I'm here, I'm wondering: has anyone had any hint of success in getting Megaman Legends 1 or 2 to work? I only get black screens... could that make them candidates for patching? It sounds like from the recent posts that patches can't fix graphical issues, but sometimes can fix hangs, or failures to load. I hate to add to the list of requests, but if any of you smart people get some free time... :D

    Hello to you all.

After a too long time in various medical problems, I'm back and I'll finally be able to manage both lists "HDD and USB." They will be opened fully. You will ALL go through the submission form to include your personal games you have played. Your comments are valuable to us and very complete information. I make inquiries columns with your data. Be as specific as possible, I thank you in advance.

In the column "Hard Disk Drive Type" (on internal HDD) to be able to indicate if you played with a game that is installed on internal hard format "IDE" or "SATA" disk (I have a 500 GB and it works perfectly for me). This information is included in the form, you just need the check at the time of giving the information.

The lists will be open to ALL very soon.

    Kind regards.

Until somebody makes a more perfect one.

The hardware emulator is nearly perfect. But it does not allow us to load PlayStation games from other devices, other than the physical CD/DVD drive. Maybe you don't mind using discs, but some of us are bothered by ever-weakening lasers and/or just don't want to carry around our discs.
