    Games converted with CUE2POPS_2_0.EXE.
Tested with POPStarter Rev.12 with EXECUTE.KELF from HDD OSD.
Some problematic games where also tested with PSP POPS 6.60 bios.
Tested just the intro's, menu's and played a little through the game.

    Working:

    - Gran Turismo SCUS-94194
works, sound and graphics are ok. Only played Arcade Mode.
    - Capcom vs. SNK - Millennium Fight 2000 Pro SLUS-01476 works.
    - Tetris Plus SLUS-00338 works.
    - Bubble Bobble - featuring Rainbow SLUS-00370 works.
    - Tekken 2 SLUS-00213 v1.0 and v1.1 both versions work.

4 game runs fine, sounds seems to be ok, but you can't hear the enemies when they fire at you. You can hear your own shots.
    - Crash Bash SCUS-94570 Game runs, music and sfx ok. Unfortunately the characters have graphical glitches, they keep flickering. Unplayable.
    - ESPN Extreme Games SCUS-94503 Game plays fine, music is ok, but SFX isn't working, only hearing a continuing beep.
    - Bushido Blade 2 SLUS-00663, unfortunately i have a rip with a bad cue file, therefore no music in game, can't test if music works. Everything else is ok.
    - Tobal No.1 SLPS-00400 music, SFX and intro ok, game is just partially playable due to some graphic glitches, characters disappear...
    - Soul Blade SLUS-00240 v1.0 and v1.1 intro movie ok, gameplay with glitches, chararacters are misformed. Entering gameplay in Edge Master Mode freezes game and hard reset needed.

You loosed me. Too techy for me
    :subdued:. Nevermind.

I only get r655 yesterday, so I dont know yet. I will try, and let you know.

@blueheaven : maybe you missed it, but I made a compatibility list yesterday (quite empty for now): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0As_WFUFvrRw5dE5fWEU1TTlscW9XMUtuTE12aU04d3c#gid=0. If you like to add your results. :very_drunk:

I've tried my CDRWIN copy of Rayman in the BIOS CD Player under pSX 1.13. A few tracks sounded cracky. The same happened when I played it with Codebreaker. Conclusion, my CDRWIN dump was nothing but a pile of crap.
One important thing I've noticed in RAYEU145F_CDRWIN.BIN is the MSF of track 50 -> 64:62:21 (where 62 in bold means 62 SECONDS:dejection:). It's definitely wrong, there's something bugged in CUE2POPS.

EDIT : Oh man, since I've implemented the unconditional +2sec in v1.1, the src is messy as hell:dejection:

@AKuHAK thanx for your dirty pops.bat, it works ok.
Just i see this error popping up with your dirty pops.bat: 'Syntax Error : Argument 1 (Games\01-PSX_NTSC\test.cue) is not valid.'
Any ideas what that might be?

Cue sheet path (Games\01-PSX_NTSC\test.cue) encountered where a command name (gap++/gap--/vmode) was expected.

    The syntax must be :
    CUE2POPS.EXE test.cue <CMD_1>
    but the program received :
    CUE2POPS.EXE something test.cue

Okay, gap++/gap-- and the CDRWIN support are broken. I'll recode that portion because it's ugly and doesn't work properly.

Does the command accept spaces in the command line like this:
    CUE2POPS_1_2_BATCH.EXE "F:\02-PSX Games\01-PSX_NTSC\Tomb Raider [Greatest Hits] [SLUS-00152].cue" "F:\02-PSX Games\01-PSX_NTSC\IMAGE0.VCD"
And does it affect the result? the image was succesfully converted...

Edit: nvm, it was something in the bat file, i edited it a bit and now it's ok (i think) ;)

Yes, as long as the path which contains spaces is quoted.
    Examples :
    F:\02-PSX Games\01-PSX_NTSC\Tomb Raider [Greatest Hits] [SLUS-00152].cue WRONG
    "F:\02-PSX Games\01-PSX_NTSC\Tomb Raider [Greatest Hits] [SLUS-00152].cue" CORRECT
    F:\02-PSX Games\01-PSX_NTSC\IMAGE0.VCD WRONG
    "
    F:\02-PSX Games\01-PSX_NTSC\IMAGE0.VCD" CORRECT

EDIT : That was the issue with the syntax error.
CUE2POPS thought that F:\02-PSX was the cue and Games\01-PSX_NTSC\test.cue was a command:biggrin-new: (because of the space between PSX and Games).

EDIT2 : So yes, your above example is correct.

Well about the problem with Rayman is caused by a bad or incomplete rip and not because
it's a incompatible game with POPStarter, glad to know.

About the GSM+r655 it uses the last version of GSM which is the 0.38 and not works.

The integrated version of GSM 037 with r644 and r646 works but don't obey to fix the Y position,
i don't remember if it have this result before Rev. 11.

I tested the standalone versions of GSM 036 and 0.37 and works but for me never worked well
before, it shows the image very reduced vertically.

The only version of GSM it worked fine for me before and now is the standalone 0.23x.

I think is a problem of the GSM versions itself and not by the emu, but better you try
the integrated one with pops-00001 for see the result.

But the gap commands are broken only when is used a dump made only with CDRWIN?

    Regards.

I did not test as deeply as you, so thanks, thats useful information.

I just tried POPS-00001 with OPL+GSM r655 (NTSC enforce), and I can confirm that it doesnt work (no signal video).

Then the problem is the version 0.38 GSM integrated with r655, try the integrated 0.37
with r644/r646 or better the standalone GSM 0.23x.

    Regards.

I'm affraid it's worse than what I expected. The +2sec calculation bug takes place in the unconditional +2 sec fix that I've implemented in v1.1.
It means that a odd MSF is written to indexes which have MM:58:FF or MM:59:FF in the cue regardless to the command/.BIN.

I'm currently rewriting all the +/- 2sec code of CUE2POPS...

Then when you finish the new cuepops whe need test the games which uses audio CD tracks
for see if anything is broken with the tracks.

    Regards.

With pfsshell i see some identical partitions, which i can't see with uLe. I want to remove those partitions, can that be done with pfsshell? I can't seem to find a command for it....

These are not duplicates, but "parts" of the same partition. Don't attempt to remove them or you may screw the entire partition.

    Weird behavior

As soon as I got the new version of the emulator I give it a shot, but a I got this strange behavior:

I prepared evrything as detailed in the README.TXT file, then when I execute the LAUNCHER.ELF or EXECUTE.ELF(properly renamed) POPS starts, it shows some text info while executing, then it freezes, if I press the power button another text info apppears very quickly and the game loads properly. I reformated the HD, repeated the whole process but no luck again.
Another problem I encountered is that if I run EXECUTE.ELF in memory card from the OSD using FreeMCBoo,t the game doesn't load, the emulator freezes.

Console info: SCPH-50001, IDE HD 40Gb, FreeMCBoot 1.8c

    Best regards

I just tried to do the same (see if I can run EXECUTE.ELF or LAUNCHER.ELF (renammed), on mc0 from FMCB menu) and I got same result as you. Black screen, an HDD is not working (I can't hear it spinning, like it does usually when POPStarter is launched). Same files, placed on mc0, but launched with uLE : POPStarter works fine.

The same here, I just didnt' describe this in the previous post, launching from mc0 using uLE the game loads but I got the same problem I described, black screen, pressing power button the game loads.
I have the game (IMAGE0.VCD) in the same partition as EXECUTE.KELF (I know this is not needed unless HDD OS is used) maybe I missunderstood the instructions to prepare the emulator.

    This is what I have:

    __common
    POPS
    disc0
    EXECUTE.ELF

    PP.PSX_GAMES
    IMAGE0.VCD

On USB drive, mc0, HD LAUNCHER.ELF renamed as: PP.PSX_GAMES.ELF

    Check if you have :

    Using EXECUTE.ELF version :

    hdd:/__common/POPS/disc0
    hdd:/PP.SILENT_HILL/IMAGE0.VCD
    PP.SILENT_HILL.ELF = EXECUTED.ELF renammed

    Using LAUNCHER.ELF version :

    hdd:/__common/POPS/disc0
    hdd:/__common/POPS/EXECUTE.ELF
    hdd:/PP.SILENT_HILL/IMAGE0.VCD
    PP.SILENT_HILL.ELF = LAUNCHER.ELF renammed

That's just what I have. I'm using LAUNCHER.ELF version. I posted this issue at EOL (elotrolado.net) there I have recommended trying with a disc inside the drive, right now I can't because I'm not a t home. Later I will try.
