    @Yugi_Muto
    POPStarter_r13_WIP_06_OBT_20151207 is what I use. What is the version number of GSM that you are using? Are you using the imbedded display setting capability of OPL 0.9.3? The video reset is definitely no big deal as I just use the POPS in-game-reset, then return to the game and the video is set correctly to play the game from there. I think that it does have something to do with the model of HDTV, but also the switch that is used. I even noticed ghosting on my cheaper component cables (since have been replaced with better non-Sony component cables). Maybe Sony-brand component cables are even better (who knows?).

    I use OPL Apps section as my game selection method. POPS is used for most games, and ps2psxe (through radshell) used for others, like Ridge Racer and Gunfighter.

    @DaSA did you use any Compatibility mode or Trojan for Colin McRae Rally 2.0.
    I have occasionally 0.5s freezes in rally. It is very annoying.
    In your video everything runs smooth.

    Oh sorry for misleading with this vid - it's not POPS (and not mine), it was a simple comparaison between PAL & NTSC version of this game - and for once, the PAL version seems better. I thought it was worthy to mention.
    Just took a look at the list, it seems that this problem is already reported for HDD/PAL, USB/PAL & SMB/PAL. The NTSC version is not tested. I will give it a try today.

    Salut à tous.

    Le problème de saccades vidéo/audio existe sur tous les modes de périphériques dans "CMR 2.0". Ce problème est causé par POPS et je ne pense pas (AMHA) que kHn va y remédier. D'autres jeux ont des soucis et les problèmes existent depuis bien longtemps, ils ne sont toujours pas corrigés car cela obligerai kHn à mettre profondément les mains dans le code de POPS pour le remanier en profondeur. Ce qu'il ne fera pas.

    Bonne journée à vous tous et toutes.

    English.

    Hi everybody.

    The video judder problem / audio exists on all modes of devices in "CMR 2.0". This problem is caused by POPS and I do not think (IMHO) that will remedy KHN. Other games have worries and problems exist long ago, they are still not corrected because it oblige NHK put hands deep in the POPS code to revise in depth. What he will not do.

    Good day to you all.

    You may have to use GSM soft to change the display mode, as the PS1 games will be displayed in 240p, and some TVs aren't compatible (so is mine).

    Which GSM version and what display mode would you recommend?

    Last time I checked, only 0.23x version was compatible.

    I noticed that using GSM0,23x the video is ok but not the audio, It goes a little late or otherwise it doesn't sync very well with the video

    First of all, I would like to write a long due THANK YOU to the main developer and anyone involved in this project. I've had problems with my laser since forever, and being able to play (at least some of my favourite) PS1 games straight from USB/HDD it's been really great.

    As for the couple of games I haven't been able to play well, I wanted to ask, is any of the TROJAN game fixes aimed at controller issues?

    I have such problems with these two games:
    • Ganbare Goemon: Ooedo Daikaiten (Japan)
    • Goemon: Shin Sedai Shuumei (Japan)
    They look like they work fine, but when you start playing you'll notice that DPad movement is intermittent, as if they had some sort of turbo function activated, which makes movement impossible. While I've seen people claim it's a controller compatibility issue within the game (they say it works OK with the older non-DualShock PS1 controllers... I can't test that, I only have DualShocks 1 and 2), I never had any problem with them when playing directly on PS2 Hardware (burned disc, DMS3 modded console). It's a compatibility issue that only appears on POPStarter for these two games.

    Is this problem common for other games? Has it been addressed in any of the existing TROJAN game fixes? (I've tried compatibility modes 4 and 6 just in case, but it didn't make any difference).

    If not, how likely they are to be addressed in the future? Judging from other people's testing, it appears that a possible fix would be to force the game to recognize any connected controller as non-DualShock (if that's even possible...)

    Thanks in advance for any tip.

    Legal, você usou um comando no seu código que eu não conhecia “@type”. :)

    A escrita do seu programa é bem diferente da minha, você usa uns comandos legais. :)

    Eu ainda estou aprendendo a fazer programas “.bat”, eu tenho um programa “.bat” parecido com o seu, que se chama “#POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir.bat”, ele faz a mesma coisa que o seu, mas, o meu programa substitui somente os arquivos para “SMB (SB.)”. Aqui está o conteúdo do mesmo (Ele está dentro do arquivo “#POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir.exe” que está no caminho “Lista e outros_List and other - joseri>Bônus_Bonus>POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir_Replace”):

    Obs: O “DaSA” usou um código “.bat” próprio, bem diferente do meu. Mas, quem quiser usar qualquer código “.bat” que eu tenha feito, pode usar a vontade, não tem nenhum problema. :)

    Cool, you used a command in your code that I did not know “@type”. :)

    The writing of the your program is very different from mine, you use a legal commands. :)

    I'm still learning to do programs “.bat”, I have a program “.bat” like his, which is called “#POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir.bat”, he does the same thing as yours, but my program replaces only the files for “SMB (SB.)”. Here is the content of it (He is within the file “#POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir.exe” on the path “Lista e outros_List and other - joseri>Bônus_Bonus>POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir_Replace”):

    Note: The “DaSA” used a code “.bat” own, very different from mine. But those who want to use any code “.bat” I have done, you can use will have no problem. :)

    Code:
    @echo off

    set /a num=0

    For /f "Tokens=* delims=" %%v in ('type #POPSTARTER_ELF_lang\*_lang.txt') do CALL:lang "%%v"

    cls

    title #POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir

    @echo. & @echo %x01% & @echo. & set /p a=

    if not exist "%a%"\*.ELF ( cls & @echo. & @echo %x02% & @echo. & pause & goto :end )

    for %%i in ("%a%"\*.ELF) do CALL:D2 "%%~ni"

    :end

    rd #POPSTARTER_ELF_lang /s /q & rd #ELF /s /q & taskkill.exe /IM #POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir.bat & del #POPSTARTER_ELF_Substituir.bat /f /q

    exit

    Is not an emulation problem, this games are developed for work only with the PSX controllers (SCPH-1080)
    and (SCPH-1180), they don't work fine with the Dualshock from PSX or from PS2.

    Best regards.

    Thank you for your response.
    That's what I've come to learn, but what confuses me is that when I play them on disc, using the same console and the same DS2 controllers, I have no problems. Also, when I play on my PS1, I use DS controllers as well. Maybe it's the modchips handling the controller conversion? I've only played these games on modded consoles...
    Anyway, I guess my questions is, if it's indeed a compatibility problem, is there any chance of this being addressed in the future, even if just for the convenience of not having to get separate controllers?
    Thanks either way!

    It should be an emulation problem because POPS is an emulator. The same thing goes for the non-standard controllers like a Guncon.
