It was shared here a couple of weeks after I started this thread.
I don't see CDVDGEN mentioned in the lists I provided with the download; however it may be included... not really sure and don't have it handy.
I'll see if I can double-check, but it may take a while, so feel free to download and look at it :)

Ooh, great. Thanks, pool7! You're right CDVDGEN does not appear to be on it.. It's weird, I have v1.10, 1.20 and 1.50 of CDVDGEN, but I've only found two SDK versions.. I wonder where all these versions of CDVDGEN originated from.

If you bothered reading the documentation from the SDKs you're busy "hoarding", you would know a lot of things needed to use the SDK were supplied separately through the SCE devnet website. ;)

I thought that could be the case. To be honest I did read several of the docs, but my memory is not very well...
In any case, thanks for the info :)

Yep i know that's potentially old and exists newer versions than 2.0 but I'm trying to contribute with what I have and for what i can at the moment.
Btw just to be honest I have also tools taken directly (almost) from Service & Repair center

What kind of tools? You mean those who fix the mechacon or whatever they are called or else? Mind sharing them?
    Cheers.

Exactly those (I had also some PS2 service/diagnostic discs but I cannot find them any more).
If the admin or the mods of the site can tell me if is allowed to post such material here i will share without any problem; if so I will post CDVDGEN 2.0 in this thread and I will make another one for these tools (just for not being off-topic).
These tools are pretty much useless but they can be interesting anyway.

The CDVDGen 2.0 is probably the latest version release by Sony.
In the documentation from SDK 3.0.3 it indicates that's the latest version available at that time, and as far as we know the latest SDK in existence is 3.1.0, so I don't see many reasons for them to have released a new version (unless there was some serious bug(s)).

Are the service tools the same that were leaked before?
I don't see an issue with sharing any of these (based on the forum's rules), but then again, mods/admin have the last word on it.

Do you remember which consoles the tools were meant for? The ones that are floating around the net were meant for consoles up to the SCPH-39000 series. Basically, I'm hoping that the ones that you have are newer... since that would be interesting.

The tools are for tuning the CD/DVD drive for proper (optimal) operation. The settings are stored within the NVRAM storage, within the MECHACON, and the settings will be used by the MECHACON.

I don't know if these are already released:
    - PS2 Mechanism Block Adjustment (untouched)
    - PS2 Electric circuit Block Adjustment (untouched)
    - PS2 EEP-ROM Adjustment (untouched)
    - PSP Monitoring (untouched/patched)
    - PSP Diagnostic (untouched/patched)
These are ealry versions so don't expect great hardware compatibily with the related platforms.
    So now let's wait for a mod/admin

Sorry I cannot check right now (not on Windows) but unfortunatley as stated before I'm pretty sure that I have the old versions

    Thanks for sharing.

The PlayStation 2 tools, unfortunately, don't seem to be different from the ones that I already have. I was really hoping for something newer, since you wrote that you got PSP tools along with them.

These PS2 tools are intended for use with Windows 98, they don't work with NT based OSes (RS232 communication libraries in them are incompatible with NT).

This means you cannot use this with Windows NT, 2K, XP and W7/W8. Maybe it works on a VM with Win 98, who knows.
