PS2 Tool retail launch > Language issue

Yes indeedy there are. Some parts..... actually most parts are so over my head!!!

 

hey, no worries - by brain hurts even trying! OH:

 

absolutely correct behaviour as for ps2 unit and sony TRC,

but but ... for the TOOL you can change this settting ( and some other ) with just one call - sceScfSetT10kConfig ;-)

 

Strangely enough, it is the ONLY piece of software to act in this manner! So, there we go!

 

Finally, now that I've taken the time to set the second unit up properly and hooked it up and looked in ProDG at the error in greater detail I find the following issue:

Which I guess means that for some reason Language 4 (presumably English) isn't being detected by the PS2 Tool and it just goes for Language 1 (German) instead.

Nothing I can do other than just keep a German dictionary to hand as I never got "sceScfSetT10kConfig" to work ;-)

 

I am still in changing of my appartment and not everything is setted up yet but I will try to find my working example and show it
