Found this on ebay last night. Never seen another like it:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/lime-green-...&otn=4&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=2919399108327868106

Is that real? If it hadnt been for the price I would have bought it regardless of being real or not. Its really strange looking, and even the cable color matches. Far as I know, there's never been a green playstation except for the debug ps1 and some psp's. There is a sony logo, so idk whats going on here.

I don't have any clue about this one but the plastic seem to be very reflective compared to the controllers I owns.

I have some rare color controllers for ps2, and the cords are colored. I have seen red, blue and now the green. I have never seen green until now.

From what I can tell they are always loose and my have been ps2 underground prizes, or packed with dekits.

    Sadly that one looks damaged

Yes, "very good condition" seems false in this case. If I just went by his description without seeing the picture, and received it looking like that, I would be very disappointed.

The pink controllers from europe are also glossy and have a pinkish, white cable.

You have pictures? im interested in seeing more of these.

Im thinking about buying this but i have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, like I'll really regret it. Not to mention the price, for me it be a total of 51usd and theres a possibility it can get lost in postage like the vertical stand i bought recently and never received.:-(

Those ones are fakes, pretty sure.

You can tell by the cord colour.

Looks spray painted to me, you can see where paint is chipped away on the buttons and dpad...

if that's spray painted, then they had a good mask for the lettering.
Looks more like color-change due to stress or heat to me.
Also, how would you spray-paint a flexible rubber cord? There are not many paints that would stay on, and most would become brittle after a short time.

To me the yellow-ish parts look more like some kind of residue, like glue or something.

The different color in said areas looks more like it was caused by glare due to the flash.

I haven't seen one of those colors before and I didn't know these exist, but I must say they look pretty legit to me.

    Note the colored cord.

This may be Japanese controller (the green one)

from when they aimed psone at women.

If so, I'd like to know how much he'd sell them for.

It could have been a controller ColorWare did. I remember seeing custom PS2 stuff on there a couple of years ago. It looks like they do a pretty good job branding the controller again after it's been painted. I doubt they colored the cord as well, but I've never seen their work in person. That would explain the paint peeling at least.

I am buyer of the Lime Green one in the OP. I will look over it very carefully when it arrives. I've been collecting PS2 stuff for some time and this is the first I've seen so I just had to have it. Hopefully I haven't bought a $50 resprayed paperweight.

Not all color variants have their cable in the same style
Like said, the PAL Pink console came with pink controllers that had a white cable

in this topic on PS2 color variants there is no mention of a lime green one:
    http://www.playstationcollecting.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=454

So I'm leaning towards custom job on this controller
