Hey, I owned a Zune for awhile. Great little media player. I'd still have it had it not gotten stolen :crying: Anywho, I left my PS3 on all last night trying to pad my scores for F@H... I never bothered to check on it this morning... I wonder if its going or if it took a header when it time traveled.
http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/01/sony-dont-turn-on-your-ps3-until-psn-bug-is-fixed/ Do not turn your ps3 on apparently.
Seems that the problem is sort of fixed. I can log into PSN and all my trophies are showing up. I went into Date/Time Settings and got it to update via the internet and it's currently showing 2/3, 0:57 so it's an hour ahead of itself atm. I'm gonna turn it off until after midnight and then try to update the time again.
My US 20GB (Nov 2006) PS3 been offline for a while and remote start is off. I turned remote start off because I disliked the idea of it keeping the CPU and harddrive running while it was on standby... I used it all day long today and only saw the issue after I spent hours using it. I suppose if I had the ethernet cable connected (my unit has no Wi-Fi) I would probably being another victim of this problem. Amuses me the fact that just by keeping the unit completely offline kept me from having issues (which I was completely unaware of until a few hours ago) And that seems to indicate that it's a software issue, not a hardware issue with the internal real time clock as some websites suggested.
MK2 > Trilogy, trilogy is broken beyond broken. Sure MK2 has Mileena and JAX as god tier but it's not nearly as abusable with infintes. but regardless, i wasn't charged for the game. Hurray!
So this doesn't affect the PS3 Slim at all, right? I just turned mine on (not having seen this thread) and it had the correct time and date.
