An interesting little hack and piece of software that allows you to download PSN games//demos/ect. onto your PC and transfer it to the PS3. While this can be used for nefarious purposes, its also useful for those wishing to circumvent firmware updates. I just used this to get myself the Warhawk beta, and couldn't be happier. I figured some people here may have also be rejected from the beta. Plus, I saw that Jurai has contributed to the project in the form of a guide. http://www.ps3-hacks.com/forums/about958.html&p=1
I have everything setup correctly with the ps3 proxyserver gui I have the mortal kombat 2 file on my pc the next step is there an easier way to get file to my ps3
I'm also stuck with setting all of this up it seems far to complicated for me. Maybe someone could help?
Download PS3 Proxy. Set the Proxy on your PS3 to that of your PC. Load up PS3 proxy program. Use the download link, do not download to your PC. Download any demo on the Playstation store. It will say its downloading whatever you clicked, but if you look at the file size, it will be that of whatever you really wanted to downloaded. Hit download in background (didnt work for me if I left it in the store menu). Install once its done by clicking on the icon in your GameOS. Play game.
Still can't get any of this to work at all. I've done everything it says but it all still doesn't work :crying:
