Is there any way to make these run? I just get an error after FTP'ing them to the HDD.

Obviously, theres more to it than that..

    Any pointers?

    Cheers,

Youd have to somehow rip it using a backup manager for it to even have a chance of working I think. Something about encryption on the eboot?

Yeah, decrypting the EBOOT.BIN or something. I don't know. :/

    I've got no idea.

Try looking for a dev update and replace the eboot, it should fix your issue...

I don't see how applying a dev update would do anything. A JB ps3 has the retail decryption keys and should be able to run it if it is signed for retail or if it is signed for dev. As well, how likely is it that you can find a dev update for a review version of a game on sp-int?

Did you try to put a BD game onto the HDD? That can't work for oh so many reasons.... - yah unless you use that backup app thing.

Well, isn't the point of the JB to actually run unsigned code?

And the JB doesn't allow retails to use sp-int, does it? (don't pay much attention to the whole JB thing, so might've missed that....)

I think the JB might be able to open anything if the exploit patches out the check all together.

Not all sp-int updates are packed as dev, though if you're using the latest JB payloads you can run both retail and debug packages anyway.

The psgroove patches do not allow masterdiscs to run so far, so you'll need to backup the files and use them from some manager. Also some game betas using debug syscalls wont run on a retail lv2.
