I recently purchased this blazblue calamity trigger prototype of someone on eBay, but it isnt loading in my test Ps3 original pic of disc unlike when i put in in a blue ray movie it just doesn't work put in a ps2 game shows its not supported but this just keeps loading
Open it up in your PC drive and show us the contents of it. I also hope you didn't pay a huge amount of money for this
i payed £125+36.34 tax for this and i am using a real ps3 test unit, the disc isnt showing on my pc as it only works with dvds. not blue ray
Are you running OFW or CFW? If you're on CFW do me a favor and install Multiman and make an ISO of it (have it stored to the HDD), transfer it to your PC (FTP is the easiest way), mount it with your preferred software and you can view the contents (dates, file layout, etc) and you can probably get somewhere with the data. The ISO multiman makes will be encrypted (it's just the way it is we can work on that later)
You need to go to 3.55, use this firmware (USB or with TM) http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/3.55-downgrader_DEX Once on 3.55 install this version of REBUG (again use a USB or TM) https://playstationscenefiles.com/r...PS3UPDAT_655b332089cb7a493a22c64c5d93858e.PUP Multiman is here, https://store.brewology.com/get/homebrew.php?id=24&fid=2111 Once installed, go into rebug toolbox and set the following System Mode: REBUG Debug Menu: DEX (this should be set already) Toggle Cobra Mode: Enabled From here, load up multiman (disable the sound if you want, I do as it bugs me), insert your disc and hit Triangle on it and you should have an option to copy it to ISO. Do that and save it to the PS3 HDD. Then on your PC use whatever FTP software you feel like and copy the ISO over to your PC The reason I'm saying this is if you cant dump it via PC, this is also an option. Annoying, yes but still an option.
Hi, I have a quick question Some time ago I bought a KH 1.5 Debug Disc, the guy was from another forum and he was selling a lot of betas and debug stuff (he also sold me a KH BBS Pre-Production disc), the issue comes when I try to load this 1.5 Debug Disc, apparently I have the same issue that deveb had, the disc just begins loading and the PS3 can't show anything (unlike other discs like retail games, dvds and blu-rays). The PS3 that I have is a retail console, so... is there any chance that I could get the disc working? Thanks for your attention
In your case you would need to probably use an exploit to install CFW (and a different version at that since D-REX isnt for retail) unless you already have CFW. If you just use the ISO that multiman makes from your PS3 you'll get nowhere so you'll have to have PS3Gen Tools decrypt the ISO that it made, then you'll be left with loose files your PS3 can use (just FTP them back into it) In your case you're in a much more difficult spot if you don't already have CFW installed. You CAN run the game but without CFW I dont see that happening. Also there's like a sticky for this https://assemblergames.com/threads/guide-backing-up-ps3-beta-discs-via-pc.59173/
I have CFW installed (sorry that I forgot to mention it), the thing is that the PS3 cannot detect anything, same goes for Multiman. Maybe the disc have some kind of issue ( I really don't know). The PS3 just begin reading the disc and after some time it just stops and don't show anything. I tried to see the files via FTP and trying to access the disc, but as I said, the PS3 can't detect anything and I don't have blu-ray reader for PC so.. :/
That seller was really suspicious but oh well. If it doesnt show on the XMB does Multiman detect it? Start Multiman first, THEN put the disc in and see if results change. There's an option to explore the contents of stuff on the system in multiman (furthest to the left, should be called File Manager / mmCM). Open it and you'll get a desktop looking setup. Open "PS3 ROOT", open "dev_bdvd", and navigate to the eboot.bin. Press X on it then circle and open in hex viewer and show me what comes up. A photo of the screen is fine as long as I can see the first files.
