I love Sony, but you're better off waiting next year for the Microsoft Scorpio. That still wont do full 4K but it'll be hell of a lot closer than the PS4 Pro.
Butbutbutbut HAELO!? Seriously, he has a point. I just went through the list of XBONE exclusive games, and besides Halo and Forza there's nothing remotely interesting (to me) on there. And even those two I don't see me sinking a lot of time into. Also, wondering how many people here actually own 4K teevees anyways?
Call me crazy but i think this whole "pursuit for 4K" will end up just like the "3D" thing. 4K will probably become a standard eventually, but why the need to rush it, specially on consoles? Consoles trying to compete with PCs is simply stupid. Remember when the PS4 and XboxOne were aimed at finally achieving 1080p 60fps? Yeah... By the time the Scorpio gets released, i'm sure the same games for it will run better on a Windows 10 PC with the high-end GPU. I dare to say that if someone builds a high-end PC today, the games will run better than Scorpio at launch next year. So why bother?! What makes things worse is that gamers are falling for this trap. The despair to always have the latest newest technology, and then complaining about it months later.
For the record I don't support the Pro or the Scorpio, but the Scorpio will have more power. The Pros upgrade is marginal.
Yes, I'm a Sony fan. But if you already have a PS4 you can spend that further £400 on 10 games instead. Exclusives have been largely shit this gen away outside Nintendo.
