Children as always eh? who cares if you resolve or not.

Because at the era .ccd and .mds format doesen't exist and very low burners support subchannels reading.
Why you don't try dump TR with cdrwin and test yourself?

We are talking about of 150 games so far with lybcrypt

but there also are the other way (gratis) :p
    That's what happen to me:
With psxfin, i got this errors, games hang after i start new game

    http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/3904/cr6m.jpg

.ccd gives no problems, like i was replied ages ago on emuforums.

Edit: make another dump with imgburn, games work flawlessy O.O
Also i've tested with psp, and the game crashes if i use cdrwin format, but not if i use imgburn.

I was thinking it's a cdrwin fault, or newer program like imgbur made something (dump postgap ecc. correctly) that resolves the issues. If is it i say sorry for all the caos i've created, i'm wrong :(

So discussione like this are absolutely wrong:

I'm waiting for your test superg. Sorry.

I have already tried, more than 15 years ago ! I had a lot of burned playstation games, and Tomb Raider was one of them. Burned with CDRWin, and worked without problem.
Please stop writing nonsense. Playstation games were copied way before CloneCD was released. But Clone CD was useful for Libcrypt protected ganes (as long as you had a compatible burner).

Edit : Sorry, I didn't see your post. Don't start arguing with people who obviously know their stuff usinq some random post on a forum, by a guy who is testing on emulator, and writes nonsense... Of course bin/cue can work with CDDA games...

Hey, watch your tongue and have a respect to person, who is actually doing PSIO hardware and software.
You may disagree with this or that, but you may not offend people.

I remember the same, I've completed all Tomb Raiders from burned discs on my PSX, and it was flawless.

    OK ok.
But i don't understand why popsloader don't work with cdda with that fucking format .bin :p. It only work with clone cd format. Also kracken have the same problem.

    Well Well, look!

Because it's a hacked Sony emulator that wasn't designed for this ?

the bug is in psx2psp. it only supports cdda in clonecd format even though .bin/.cue is perfectly capable of cdda.

also latest versions of pops emulator just doesn't support cdda. 3.71 and 3.72 should be fine. i don't remember the exact firmware version of pops which dropped cdda.

so pops emulator (in older versions) support cdda audio but unfortunately there isn't a converter for .bin/.cue format, only clonecd format.

there's also codestation converter, and at the time he say that only ccd is supported. It's on an old forum that i don't remember the name (frequented by olivera also).

Btw, you have right, seems sony removed with cdda support also lots of compatibility on newer pops. I think because it doesen't like custom pops :p

there just isn't a reason for not supporting cdda in .bin/.cue aside from programming choices and/or lack of knowledge. "clonecd" .img and ".bin/.cue" .bin are exactly the same. cdda tracks info is stored in .ccd and .cue. psx2psp can get the info from .ccd but not from .cue. i really do not know the reason but it shouldn't be a format problem.

for psio it would be great to support .bin/.cue, clonecd and alcohol image formats. converting images might fail and/or lose info on the process so support for all formats would be great.

Indeed my friend, I thought he was just someone trying to push an idea with no experience. Pretty cool device even if the demonstration is a little bit suspicious.

Haunted still has 0 experience pushing such a device, this has other people behind it. There is absolutely no way he went from coding demos to creating working homebrew hardware in less than 2 years.

That said I'm not seeing any video proof from an independent source yet, I thought we were going to get something? Or did I misinterpret an earlier post?

We're just waiting on some coding to be done before the PSIO unit is shipped out to me.
Shouldn't be more than a week or two before you see some live action! :encouragement:

That would clear up what I was reading earlier. Looking forward to it.
