PSONE modchip fail - Burnt SMD components (cap?)

    When i asked him if it was a MM3 chip or a ONEchip, he told me MM3 chips where only for FAT playstations and mine was a ONEchip. He also said that the chip should work no matter if it was PAL or NTSC.

    MM3 or Mayumi v4 is the one you want for any US console.

    ONEchip is only for PAL machines.

    OneChip would not function in US consoles because it only spams "SCEE" - meant specifically for European consoles.

    You can see this in a PIC disassembler.
