Hello everyone, I've been sitting on a bunch of PSP pre-release game builds lost within my files and I've stumbled upon those again, seing how those are almost 10 years old, I assumed it would be fine to share here

The first beta I have is an early build of Death Jr, while this build is legit, I suspect it is a bad dump (several of the stream files are 00ed) I can't get it to run on my dev units (according to the TTY log, it locks up trying to access some asset on the DVD.
I have tried replacing some of the assets by the ones of the final game (stream files being identical on the US version), to no avail.
Perhaps you will have more luck

The second pre-release game (properly working this time) is a DVD Review build of Fight Night Round 3 from 12.21.2005

It works fine (even in 32MB mode) and has a couple of hidden debug features that show up when using the GPI switches in specific configurations

Because I believe in preservation, all the files I've shared are in their original PSP DVD format.
    You will see the usual
    CONT_L0.IMG
    MDI.IMG
    UMD_AUTH.DAT
    USER_L0.IMG
    USER_L1.IMG
files in the ISOs. (well, Death Jr only has one UMD Layer so USER_L1.IMG won't be in that one)

I know this format is not ideal to run on a retail psp but I rather keep the files as original as they can be, not to mention converting debug images to ones playable on retail units is a trivial operation.

    Anyway, Enjoy!

Fun story, Death Jr was one of the early games being used to test the PSP.
