A long time friend of mine is a promotional rep, and he has the rare opportunity to be one of the first owners of a "PSP Go" he has a pre-release unit that is 100% functional. He came over to my workplace today to show it off so I had to take pics for you guys. I must say it is much smaller than I had imagined it would be, and feels well built! Unfortunately the battery went dead before I could try any of the apps and my friend did not bring the charger I tried the best to get every angle, sorry about some of the slightly blurry images, like I said I was at work, I was kind of in a hurry, I blacked out the serial number of the unit, I do not want to risk getting my friend in any kind of trouble. anyhow, ENJOY!
I will buy this when it is released.. Then sell it six months later when I realize that I never use it. Six months after that I will purchase 3 broken units off of ebay and repair them only to have them sit on a shelf and collect dust.
The British TV show, The Gadget Show has a Web TV section that reviewed the PSP Go a few weeks back. Here's the link - http://fwd.five.tv/gadget-show/videos/other/psp-go
Awesome. You and your friend are very lucky, thanks for taking the time to share pictures. Interesting to see that it has PSP-XXXX instead of PSP-N1000 on the rear of the screen. I really want a white one, but it's still too expensive. Amazon have it listed as £229.99, with the PSP-2000 sat next to it at £99.99!
Very lucky you are and awesome pics too. I'm begining to want one of these really quite a lot but the only problem is that its still too expenive and i can't afford one and if i could i couldn't justify buying one anyway. I'll probably just stick with my PSP-1001 for the moment.
Nice pics! I'd love to get one, but it's pretty expensive for the moment. The only way that it could have some big sales would be if Gran Turismo came included with it... If it's the one they use in Sony Ericsson phones you have nothing to worry about, it's rock solid :icon_bigg
Looks nice and the screen size kicks ass (hopefully also the quality, is it comparable to the psp 2000 screens?). I dislike non-physical media as well so it would only be an option to play MP3's, movies, emulators et cetera on the go. Guess I'll pass, I already own a PSP that can do that Cool futuristic yet solid design nevertheless.
the PSP has never really appealed to me. but the Go looks pretty nice. I just don't feel like I'm missing anything by not owning one.
So sexy. I wish I could get my hands on one right now. =( Any chance you played around with the controls and can tell us how they felt?
I'm definitly getting one of these! I just hope taht Sony releases the PSN Cards in the EU on release!
