Recently my psp 3000 passed away and I was doing some research and it looks like the psp go has some features I would be interested in, a nice docking station for connecting to my tv/charging, and the ability to sync to a ps3 controller. But it looks like my current sd card adapter for my 3000 won't work with it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B6DYDZS So I was wondering if anyone knew an adapter that would and the largest amount of memory I can put on it? Thanks for the help.
Uh, what is that? I was looking for a micro sd card adapter I could just slide my cards into and then slide into a psp go. That thing looks dangerous, you have to file down the plastic separators just to get it to work and those are in place to prevent pin crossing which could cause a short that would certainly mess up your sd card (and all the data/saves on it) and maybe even hurt your handheld.
Unless you modded the M2 card slot into a TF card slot, and there is no any adapter that can allow you just slide it into a PSP Go so far.
It looks like it is just a pin conversion that is going on so would a mod to make an internal micro sd card reader be possible?
Yes, it is. Take a look in this thread https://assemblergames.com/threads/psp-go-micro-sd-card-mod.65889/
Ouch, yea having never owned a psp go before and thus never used Sony's proprietary micro m2 I didn't realize that. Shame they couldn't just keep the exclusive memory cards uniform across revisions of the same handheld even. It is nice being able to fit 2 micro sd cards into the pro duo adapter. What a nightmare importing saves must have been for this thing back in the day to people looking to upgrade.
