I'd assume you could play hunchback style with the PSPgo sitting on a table and the DS3 in your hand, but then again, at that point why wouldn't you just hold the PSPgo? -hl718
im sure that you are able to play using your ds3 pad while watching the pspGo but as hl718 says you might as well just hold the psp
exactly.the PSPgo seems too cluttered for my large hands. I d rather be able to play with a DS (rumble would be welcome) if it's the sort of game I ll be playing for hours - say Gran Turismo. This way I only need take a PSPgo and a DS3 when I go to some cabin/hotel/etc and still have the comfort of holding a console's pad.
Well that's certainly more pathetic than I ever dared to imagine. Oh well, that's the mystery solved, gang.
Really shortsighted of Sony I must say. I'm getting a PSP 3000 from my parents for Christmas, to add to my gaming collection; and in the process of getting some really cheap UMD games from car boot sales. I far prefer the idea of a physical disk than a download. The PSP-Go looks sleek and nice, but frankly, even as a "new user" to the PSP, I don't like the idea of not having swappable and cheap UMD discs. What's the benefit anyway of the control layout over the old one?
THE SCREEN IS SMALLER TOO, RAGE! clearly the PSPgo has its own fair share of benefits. I wouldn't mind it as a second system, considering I do have a good library of downloaded PSone games. The price is ass though.
Congrats, there are so many great psp games now. God of War, Crisis Core, any of the Metal Gear titles.
sony loves down gradeing the specs of there consoles like the ps3 no backwards for slim line no umd for psp go they will lose out
http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/28/sony-america-abandons-umd-to-psp-go-good-will-program-offers/ As you can see from the link there will be no umd to psp program. Also America will not be getting the 3 free games like europe.
I'm glad they're not doing exchanges, because it's bad for the platform. I'm pulling a Limbaugh on the PSPGo and hoping it fails. Anything bad for the PSPGo is good for me. I don't like digital distribution for full titles (WiiWare is fine). I'm a collector, I want physical media. I know in the long run it'll be all DD, but I don't like the idea of converting an existing platform to DD. The existing PSP is such a nice piece of hardware, why screw with it?
