http://www.fumanchuu.com/pspdev/ xD also how to use non duo memory sticks on psp: http://www.psp-vault.com/Article63.psp
amazing, but with the systems use of memory sticks and usb port i imagine alot of intresting homebrew stuff will come out, i bet emu authors are quickly trying to develop some full speed emus atm.
Well with a built in picture browser its kinda hard to belive all these kind of pictures i see on the internet!
how come it actually reads the pages, can it understand html standard or was it modified to do so with an os or something ??
if someone manage to create a full-speed running n64 emulator for the PSP, then nintendo's dead with his DS.:smt043:smt043
im doubting this due to the fact the unit has a image viewer, although i wouldnt be complaining if its true
This is true, and quite a basic hack actually, I just did it myself not 10 minutes ago. In WipEout Pure if you go to the 'download' option it loads up a webpage on a sony server that for the moment says 'downloads coming soon'. all this does is redirect the traffic to other webpages instead of the sony wipeout page. Pretty cool tho Some people already have PSP portals setup so all you have to do is change the DNS settings on your PSP's network settings, go to the 'downloads' option in wipeout, and you get a nice address bar and you can start surfing
What's wipeout? Does this mean the PSP can go to Cherryroms or whatever and play SNES roms or something?!
Oh, I didnt know you needed a game to do it. I thought it was some "illegal utility cd" or something. I didnt know much about it, since I don't like racing games.
No one's made any emulators for the PSP quite yet! Actually, how hard is it to program for the thing? Don't suppose anyone's stolen any C compilers or something equally crazy yet?
its just a matter of time before the psp is hacked like any other platform.... and pirating games will also rise some day.. and then all the huge mem.stick duo's are sold out
What's the read speed of the memory sticks compared to the UMD? Comparable? Of course not Not until emulators are specifically made for the PSP. What's the deal with running code from the memory stick? Is it possible?
