No idea, There was speculation that sony used a special kind of battery to flash the PSPs with, I can't remember why this was suggested but I'm sure someone can remind me.
I'm a little annoyed that fucking PS3News has got this on the front page. Now I'm really fucking pissed off. I was only in there to speak to a guy called Nikk to see if he had any logs so I could find out where it came from and then this, He told me a bot posted it, So it came from one of the ops at PS3News. Then I get pissed off tell them to change the misleading title and this happens... EDIT : Nikk had nothing to do with it, He was actually the only decent one there. It really pisses me off when I try to help out and all I get is this shit. :-( And now my internet is going nice and slow. I wonder why...

The site really sucks so it doesn't surprise me. If you ask for help your thread is deleted so I really don't see the point and there site is full of ads which slow down my internet.
This dump is pretty much useless anyway, beside it's been leaked at QJ about a year ago. There is nothing new with this leak even the minna no gold savedata still has the very same crc.

no. Demon released his version here a short time ago. Everyone got it and all was well. Then a day or two ago Demon finds out that PS2/3 news has the same files up on their website claiming it was theirs. He cannot find a download link to their version though. (he wants to see what they changed of his) So he asks here if anyone knows where to find the files from PS2/3 news. I had ran across them on maxconsole so I put THEIR (i didnt make it) link up here so he can get the files to look at them. Then he gets pissed because of what they did and here we are calling them names lol.
It may not be as useless as it seems : it seems to only need a special battery. This could be "easily" "mass" manufactured and I think it would sold quite easily to people who bricked their PSP : sure that spending money in a 25-30$ battery that you are going to use to unbrick your psp (and maybe your friend's psp and maybe your customers psp if you decide to "sold" an unbricking service) is way more attractive than buying a brand new PSP... So I think it could really get used interestingly .
I have access to probably a couple of hundred bricked PSPs so an unbricker would be awesome. I would expect the external hookup to be via the headphone port though, not the battery; there's definitely serial data coming out of the battery but then it's an InfoLithium, isn't it?
