Purchasing an Xbox

hm. sounds like a game I should buy then. The only thing I use my xbox for is XBMC to watch movies ^^

 

I actually bought my 'box for one, well 2 sole purposes, since im not a huge pc gamer, i never experiecend morrowind,doom,far cry,etc, and i knew the xbox had many of these games, although not all these games are perfect, i still wanted to play them,...thats why i purchased an 'box


To date, these are the games I have

Forza
Fusion Frenzy
PGR2
Crazy Taxi 3
Shenmue 2
The Elder Scrolls Morrowind GOTY
Deus Ex 2

Its worth mentioning, that all these games were purchased for 9.99 each.....bloody amazing!


Oh and the hack. Turns out the wire cutters i used didnt have the right size cutters for the smaller wires, so i resorted to stripping them with a small knife, After some rather sh*tty soldering, and nearly lighting the kitchen on fire, i managed to pull it off, unfortunatly, by the time i was done, it was nearly 12am, so i havent tested them yet

Xbox is definetly a fun system, I have more games for it then PS2 or GC (ran out of games to play on GC :crying. I buy discounted games and have about 40 or so so far. The only problem is there isn't a lot of games like, say DMC that really stand out, but there is Ninja Gaiden. Basically, multi console games are best on it (unless it's FPS, where usually they stand out more on PC except with FarCry which is fun for either). Some other games to check out:

Breakdown - cool game, kind of awkward fighting but very fun to play through
DOA's - really fun fighting games with great graphics
FarCry - awesome graphics, map maker and LIVE
Guilty Gear X2
Halo 1 - I loved the SP, Halo 2 I guess....but the SP kind of sucks, fun MP for a little while though
Silent hill games - 2 is enhanced for Xbox
MGS 2 - good no matter what system
Mortal Kombats - all very fun on Xbox, plus FATALITIES!!1
Oddworld games - haven't played Stranger but Munch was fun
Otogi
Panzer Dragoon Orta
PSO - 2 month free trial....kind of dead now and its STILL FUCKING CHRISTMAS, but the free trial is something to do
Ninja Gaiden

and there's always the cheap ass games that cost under 8 bucks, there usually pretty fun even if for a little bit.

Xbox live is still fun for regular Xbox, always great to download some new content for games. The only problem I have with Xbox Live is that I don't have anyone to play with on it really (everyone got either 360's, don't have either or don't have Live), and there's always the jackass who thinks that he has to be cussing and slurring into the microphone. Modding/hacking the system is always fun too!
