I just heard theres been a lot of raids since they pass that new anti piracy law. Its that bad? I heard some guy got a 50000$ fine for selling xbox modchips in atlanta
I haven't heard anything about that. $50,000 also seems to be a bit hefty for selling modchips, unless he was selling modified consoles with games already installed on the hard drives. I've heard of a few cases like that, and I think each of them gets what they deserve. As for selling just modchips or an "installing service", I'll tell you once the local guy gets locked up .
the local shops near my place still have 20 or so ff11 with the harddrives, they wer going for 120 cdn last time i checked.....it was a place called futureshop....its owned by best buy.....nice place..kinda expensive
Hey could you get one and send it to me? Since sony released those damn PStwos those adapter just dissapeared from the stores. Check it to see if its working :-D
i would, but im flat broke, plus ninetynine percent of the time, they dont check to see if it works, and all i have is the slim ps2...i checked the shipping for argentina, and it would cost a friggin fortune......sorry dude, i would if i could....terribly sorry
Dude Ill pay, how im goin to ask a perfect stranger to do me a gift? :-D Although, if you cant test it and they wont either, bad luck :smt009
ebgames stopped testing all their shite bout a year ago, they used to be really cheery people, you could talk to them for hours and hours, now all they do is try to sell you a warranty on a friggin game....do they think were idiots....retorical question.. ill keep my open to see if i see anything, but i checked earlier today, the ebgames that had the network adapters went bust due to the location of the mall, it was a seedy place, and if you know about hamilton ontario, than you know how seedy it is, im goin to another one tommorw, so ill check...i hope..
For xbox, go with softmod since you just want to play imports. Great thing is that you can still do almost everything you could with a modchip. Plus...it's free (if you have the right tools that is). For PS2, depends what you want to do. I'd recommend swap magic since you don't need to open your console.
the place was a dump..hamilton is a friggin dump......excuse my language, but the scum that walked through that place....i wouldnt go into that place wavin money around for fear of being mugged, but did they ever have some good deals
Exactly why I bought Swap Magic. Now if I could make something to jam down in the lid sensor, I'd be good to go.
Listen to this one, please. I learned that the hard way. Yes, get Swap Magic, unless you have a seriously expert electronics technician that can help you.
Yeah i kno, theres was a whole VG mall in one of the worst zones of BuenosAires, Once. The place got ever EVRYTHING you could imagine, too bad the placa was a damn ghetto and you could carry a lot of money (or games in the way out) :smt009
Yep, and here's the most important part: the installation itself. Use the right cables, a decent solder, plus you have to place the modchip on a place it won't cause interference. Marcelo, from Maximum Level Games, did the install of mine, and all i can say is WOW. 1 hour of a work of art. Anyway, you can use DMS4EZI that does not require a single soldering. Just connect the chips to the boards and it's ready to go: JTI2K: If you want a PS2 network adaptor, check www.mercadolivre.com.br or any brazilian online game store. I'm sure you'll find one easy.
