Interested in original packing of PlayStation's promo disks in PAL region. I have the disk with Resident Evil: Survivor received in Maxi-CD case. The seller wanted to put the manual into it, but it'll damaged.
The same with PS2 and PS3 promos - they usually come in those maxi jewel cases with the manual being bigger than the cases. For the purpose of collecting this is really no fun with all those manuals lying around.
Promos came in all shapes and sizes, but usually in slim jewel cases, like CD singles. For both PlayStation and PS2. They didn't have manuals.
Sorry for bumping an old thread but Im getting some PS2 promos soon and I need to check with the experts a few things! About the manuals, there is some mixed information here so can someone clear this up? For the standard/most common promos, the ones that come in the slim jewel cases, do these come with manuals or not? Also about the slim jewel cases, do they have a Sony/PSX or any kind of branding on them or are the just generic cases?
Hello, I have PS2 PAL promo GRAN TURISMO 4 with genuin inlay. on ebay, I' ve seen PAL PS1 GRAN TURISMO (1998) promo with inlay. I' ve ask about genuin or not to UK seller. he answered "original, genuin" to me. inlay not included basically, but not at all I think.
one of my latest acquisitions came in a DVD case and with the standard single cover tucked in the back, is this common? Also no SLES number on the spine
Does anybody here have the Crash Bandicoot promo with cover? First game, PAL promo. I've seen one with cover at eBay UK but I can't find any pictures now. Of course, cover is in Maxi-CD style.
Thank you for the photo. So, another Japanese Crash Bandicoot 3 found. I had Japanese Crash Bandicoot 3 promo in catron sleeve. I mean PAL Crash Bandicoot promo disk. First game. Where did you find this photo, BTW?
I had a PS2 promo of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and that came in a single cd case with cover. I have a few Street Fighter ones that all come in the same fashion -
These types of promos are pretty easy to come by (just search PS2 PROMO on ebay.co.uk and knock yourself out). Japan also have a similar type of promo versions for a lot of games (both for PS1 and PS2). Should someone happen to stumble upon promo copies of Rule of Rose and Raw Danger, color me interested. Also @Twilight, poke me here or on THIA sometime. Since you appear to be interested in Crash Bandicoot stuff of various flavors, I might have something you'd be interested in. Just remind me of digging it out sometime.
