Question about PSOne shell

    That's the plate indeed. I finally managed to wash it and dry it carefully. Since my last post, it's still in quarantine, just in case... and in perfect shape. I still can't understand why it can not be removed... seems a major burden to me because there is no gain in havint it glued instead of screwed to the case.

    That coupled with the fact that I can't think of any use for it... sure it has something to do with shielding, but... well, don't know what it does.

    Never seen that in a psone before, it must be a final version for the shielding.

    Its under the normal metal shielding on all psones/

    As Bad_Ad84 says, it's exactly under the standard shielding, which is composed of two plates as usual. In fact I don't really see which parts of the shielding make contact with the copper plate because once placed it's difficult to tell if the shielding makes contact at all with it.

    Hmm, mine didn't have it. It was modded so it might have been removed by the modder.
