Oh grow up will you? Quit being pissed off that im pointing out your lack of knowledge. Try and learn something.
You didn't point out anything, you just flamed with no reasonable back-up to support your claims. In sense, you did nothing.
I was pointing out that the information he was providing was incorrect and all he did was make little immature comments and continue: For example:
You can't insult someone if you have nothing to disprove him. Provide evidence that those are not XeDK Beta 2s.
Here are pictures of XeDK Beta-2 consoles. They were only made in white cases that have "xbox 360" labeled on them unlike the XeDK Beta-1's that were only all black and had no labeling of "xbox 360" on them. They always have a prototype sticker and/or a sticker with three serial bars. and here are one of the Beta-2 XeDK faceplates
Which one is rare? XeDK Beta-2 with rubber USB or normal faceplatse? Also, can someone clear up the sidecar colour differences? I changed one of my XDK (non beta) sidecars to be a black case as I thought the 360 marked very dark grey console casing would look better with the black sidecar rather than the dark grey one... Maybe I should change it back..
Gee, i wonder lol. And as for sidecar color differences: Black = XeDK White = Test Kit ( for the most part ) Grey = Final Kit It doesnt matter what color you put over your sidecar. Doesnt change how it functions. But if you are gonna put the grey one back on i will buy the black shell off you
the easiest way to tell what type of console it is is to open it up and look at the motherboard rev. if the last number is from 01-03 is a alpha 04-06 Beta 1 07-09 Beta 2 09-12 Finals. Although some Beta 2's were refurbished into final consoles. for colours All internal m$ prototypes were white and had flipped rf boards for the beta stages. Theses did not include a sidecar and may or may not have a white proto hdd. All the Beta 1 prototypes shipped out to developers were black with black sidecars and had a big orange warning on the side. Beta 2's were identical to the final kits shipped to developers although very very few had black sidecars theses were the first lot that were shipped to devs as they most likely reused a spare lot from the beta 1's Prior to beta 2 all consoles had non final plastics and had the different shapped faceplate with the rubber usb door, the main case missed the xbox 360 markings, there are a few beta 2 internal prototypes that had the rubber doored faceplates. If you ever happen to pick up one of the retail store place holder units you will find they do not have the final plastics or metal work which kinda indicates that they were shipped out before beta 2 shipped to developers.
They can be expensive if you want one in good condition, last one I saw sell was a beautiful white kit, with all original stickers and a krypton controller and it sold for $200.
