Hello again all was wondering what are the dimensions for printing US labels and also has anyone played "Dark Half" yet its awsome!!!
Pretty handy template. Dimensions are 82mm x 43mm You can also buy them here https://www.retrogamecases.com/shop/snes/dark-half-3/
Sure but it won't look the best if it's your average consumer grade inkjet. If you can get them printed as vinyl stickers they'll look amazing.
Maybe printing it on the highest possible DPI/quality and then laminating it *might* look alright, but as APE said, vinyl is best.
If you use a photo inkjet on the proper paper, you can get some very good results. You'll want glossy photo sticker paper, and I still recommend laminating them after you print.
I found several great sites for these with a vast amount of labels for all regions and multiple systems but the above template is awsome now i can make my own and have the correct dimensions to do so
Official and Translated Labels http://gmlabels.blogspot.com/p/snes.html http://www.sneslabels.com/ Pre'made Labels if you lack the printer https://www.retrogamecases.com/
Thanks for the links but I was referring to sites that print the labels since $5 each label will add up quick. But the labels that are on those links are nice to have for custom prints.
hmmm well if you know any guys in this or other forum sites? maybe alot of ppl i have found stopped making labels which is why i referenced those sites
It is easier to do it yourself ; ) For 4,99 you could have yourself a full A4 page of stickers and all the necessary tools to have good looking cart label. You just need to get comfortable with a good graphic software (PS, Illustrator..) and edit the printed file yourself. First you might want to calibrate your screen so your project has faithfull grids and guidelines (to match real cm/inches) Then color calibrate your screen so you can print the exact same colors from your project to your sheet. If you don't have a nice printer you might find a hq printing service near your location. Inkjet is good choice (cheap) but you'll need a good inkjet printer. The paper used is a sticky photo paper. Use highest settings on both your editing program and your printer. (300 DPI picutres is good, 600 is more than you need but always safer) Finally you can use a label protection tape. It will protect your label from dust and the sun so the color won't fade over the ages ^^ Cut, paste and most of all, experiment!
