Questions regarding PSX Please!

Yeah defo is a legit one. Perhaps its the order that I'm getting wrong, when/how exactly should I use the custom PSX script. Don't understand why its not working if I was able to use the Format and Install bat. files :/

You reckon I should start over from scratch and just redownload the files?

 

Are you really sure that your memory card adaptor and memory card are both genuine Sony devices?

Basic I/O operations (e.g. copying files and formatting the memory card) will work for a clone adaptor, otherwise it wouldn't have a purpose.

Signing KELFs on the other hand, might not work. Most, if not all of them, do not support Magicgate properly and are hence unsuitable for installing FMCB with.

 

Well, I decided to install the FMCB using the adapter. Format MC and install the FMCB were successful, but the kelf not signed ...("failed to sign boot kelf"). It is possible that my adapter - clone, though I was sure I bought the original CECHZM1. I hit rock bottom...
