    The i7 920 is getting on a bit too.

    Sell everything and grab a 4770K maybe? Would make the most sense.

    didn't they remove virtualisation support from the 4770k? (and other k series?) that'd be a deal breaker for me TBH

    well if you be so kind to buy me one i wont complain :D to be honest i am quite happy with my core i7 920 works and if i feel the need to upgrade i would go for a x79 or a dual xeon X79

    and i personally don't like how intel is playing this game with there new CPUS maybe in the next few years we will see if intel replaces the socket 2011
