Agreed! I was so looking forward to the planned Raiden/Viper Phase 1 collection that was supposed to come out on the xbox way back when. Sadly, the company that was supposed to port this went out of business. But yes, Raiden III is definitely good news! Let's hope they retain the same gameplay style and feel from the earlier games.
I have Raiden Project, but - and sorry to say - I was a bit put off by the level of graphics and sound... but maybe that's just me. A new Gigawing is sweet as hell though :smt023
Hopefully only the bios for the hardware will be the only thing to run it on your top end PC. Probably wishfull thinking.
I'll admit, the Raiden games are nice, but I'm giong to have to say that Cave's latest efforts blow them out of the water.
Yeah, that's what I've heard. Would have been a nice little bonus to have the full game on the DX disc, but alas, no such luck. To this day, Viper Phase 1 remains an arcade-only affair and it's not the easiest title to find either.
My wife is all about shooters like this. She will only play this 1942, 1943, and galaga. I am look honey new graphics and she is like give me galaga. G
Humm... I remember Magicbox saying this game was coming to Xbox. Maybe they saw this would be a great waste of money. Even on the PS2 shooters are not selling very well, what is a shame... I hope this game get a console port anytime soon. Falow
