I got a friend that I met her but moved back to the states. The dick bag Skypes me at 7AM for tech support. It sounds like to me the most solid option is a part time job. It will suck, but it's only to raise funds in a finite amount of time, right? You'll be balls tired but perhaps physical labor for a shipping company? My guess is you could work 4 hours at a reasonably high rate a few times a week.
I did that for six months and just quit, last wednesday was my last workday. I worked for four hours three days a week (48hrs a month) and I got 400 Euro, so it was like an hourly salary of 8,3 Euros and no taxes (this is a German law: there are jobs that you can be paid for with up to 400 Euro without having to be insured by the company, pay taxes etc). It was a nice income for some time (I had to save up for university as well), but it wasn't only boring as hell but damn hard work. I always came home and felt like a wreck, nothing but my cozy bed in mind I can actually recommend the experience although carrying boxes and copy paper from the ropebelt conveyer over to various pallets is possibly the most stupid job in the world. But it's nice to know why you have to bite the bullet and learn and graduate - nobody with a vision and intelligence wants to do that stuff for a living, but most of them don't really know what they are gonna end up with if they don't do anything with their intellect and keep being a lazy bugger until it's too late. While I worked there, I saw many people who were in their 50's and had to do that crap for money, or at least they tried to and always just for a couple of days.
