Raptor Card + HDD? Is it blank?

    I remember seeing the dvd emulator raptor cards shipped with hard drives, were the drives just blank or did they some type of data?

    I'm guessing it was just used to store the "DVD" ?

    Yes, its used to store the DVD images. You can even set what type of drive you want to emulate, a Thompson or Philips drive. Its all in the manual for it.

    :wink-new: Thats why I wanted a Dev kit, besides the fact that I stared collecting after getting this Raptor card. DVD emulation is awesome I think.

    So the Thompson emulator selection just doesn't have any function? :p

    Yeah, it works for some games, then decides it doesnt want to work anymore.

    Thanks for the information, I'd love to try mine but have been unable to get a dvt3 or 4 for a resonable price.
