RAREST MEGA DRIVE GAME

every month severals on ebay for about $10-30 and you call that a rare item??^^

 

Goes for £50-80 (~$100-$160)here on Ebay UK. It's nothing like the rarest though.

 

Ah, that explains it I guess. Been seeing a few of them on eBay sometimes as high as $200!

 

I'd say that's a high-end price - £40-£55 is probably more realistic (unless there's been a sudden jump recently?). I've seen complete copies as low as €35-€40 on European eBay sites.
$10-$30 is nonsense though, unless you're talking loose carts or HK boots.

 

Yo dudes anyone know of any other MEGA DRIVE games that were released in a different BLUE BOX package (ie Sonic 3 etc packaging) that were normal black boxes in this country ie

Toejam and Earl Panic On Funkotron (German Blue Box)
Landstalker (German Blue Box)
Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (French Blue Box)

???? ANY MORE????

Don't know about recently, I tried to pick it up a couple of years ago and bidding went over £70 iirc (which is more than I'd be prepared to pay), and have seen it since then go for +£50. I tend to err on the expensive side when predicting Ebay prices in this country...

 

I have Space Turtle Battleship I mentionned some time ago, but few people seem to have reacted about it. Never seen anywhere.
Does any MD follower saw it popping on eBay?

 

What exactly is Space Turtle Battleship is it PAL/ NTSC? Never heard of it? Got a box scan?

That's true for most systems : rarity doesn't seem to worth much. It's how many people want to item that define its price.
