Hmm... I really don't which is the rarest per se, but here are the rarer items I have collected over the years. I buy most of my stuff brand new and I never sell anything so I'm often surprised when someone tells me that something is rare or hard to come by. Somebody'll have to tell me which is the rarest.

Brand new unused SNES Action Set from 1992
    Panzer Dragoon Saga for Saturn
The entire Working Designs collection (I don't have all of the official guides, but I have at least one copy of each game and each edition of each game)
Boxed copy of Grandia: Parallel Trippers
Boxed copy of Lunar: Walking School
64DD and most of the games
    Sin and Punishment
Diamond and Pearl edition black DS
    Steel Batallion

Yeah, man Crash N the Boys is a great game.

Hmm, I dont really own much rare stuff video game wise. I think that Super Mario All stars + Super Mario World is rare...
But I do own some original comics by Jack Kirby from the 60's. Not sure if they're worth anything, but newsprint that's in good conition from 40 years ago is an accomplishment, I think.

The rarest thing I still own probably is the cdr which contains parts of the Playstation source code for the original "Driver - You are the Wheelman" game. I think it only contains source code for the menus and some scripts. It was probably sent out for translation to the person I got it off. However I was never able to compile it to anything in working order. The disc comes with a second disc which contains an early build of the game aswell. In that build almost all of the textures are missing and are replaced with a random place holder graphic which reads something like "Mike Is King!!" in bright pink colors. Thats all I remember, its been ages since I last played it :(

Its worthless unless I get joy out of it - and the only way I can do that is by pumping out Rondo's great tunes!

Well shit, I was going to point out that your bathroom matched your 360, but seems like you've beaten me to it.

For me it's probably one of:
    * sealed Divers 2000 (stapled closed box)
    * Maziora
    * Sonic DC - got from an ex-Senior Sega exec from Sega France
    * signed cheque by Stan Laurel!

Signed checks from old stars aren't as rare as you would think for two reasons. It was a common practice for stars to write checks instead of paying with cash because the star struck clerks would often keep the check instead of cashing it as proof of the meeting. Also in the old days people would get every check they ever spent back from the bank. You still can do this but it costs money now and banks discourage it. Anyway when a star would die and the family would clean out his belongings they would find several boxes full of these old checks. Sometimes families would send them to fans who wrote after the star died. Other times they would sell the whole lot to a dealer. Either way they wouldn't often get thrown out. Do a search for any old time star and chances are you can find a canceled check. Babe Ruth,Einstein,Jack Ruby etc.

There are some collectors who just collect checks. Strange enough while being easier to verify they sell for less than autographed photos which are often faked.

The cheque was donated by Lois Laurel, Stan's daughter, to a Sons of the Desert Tent (that's a 'branch' of a Laurel & Hardy fan site). The tent sold it to raise funds. I bought it from someone I knew on ebay.

The plus side is I know its 100% authentic....there were quite a few sold......

It's a pretty cool cheque.....I'm a big Laurel and Hardy fan with 103 of their films....

I've owned so much but have not been a good collector through the years (I've had to go back and repurchase things recently). So the rarest (or perhaps just strangest) thing I own would have to be this:

It has two cartrige slots and they are filled with Mortal Combat and Sinistar respectively. I don't have much more, maybe a cable or perhaps another cartridge.
