It's cool but not at all like a TeraDrive other than it looks like a PC and plays Mage Drive games. The TeraDrive is much more than that. Still cool though ;-)
Actually, the amstrad mega pc is very similar (function wise) to a teradrive... it's a PC and a mega drive in one. The major difference is that in the teradrive, the mega drive is built into the PC hardware, while in the amstrad mega pc the PC and mega drive hardware are separate. They're both pretty awesome
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=160294865837 This gotta be the cheapest SF-7000 ever. 36 pounds for a good looking unit with I/O and AC cable.
My rarest video game is without a doubt my Donkey Kong 64 Kiosk cartridge. I have a picture here: http://www.dk64kiw.com/Media/MYDK.JPG. I found this game on eBay at 3:00AM when I was searching for the regular game. I assume the seller thought it was the final version. I have a link to the auction here: http://expiredlistings0xfq.bravehost.com/DONKEY-KONG-64-Nintendo-N64-console-system-game-lot_W0QQitemZ130231594965QQihZ003QQcategoryZ139973QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.html. I have no idea what this game is worth, but I know I got a good deal because I only paid $20.
I can't see the difference between that version of DK and the other versions o0 and what is a Kioskversion ? A special version for shops? And why do you know that it is this version o0'
The grey N64 DK cart is different from the yellow released one. You play one level I believe at random and then when the level is over (or you die?) you go back to the start. I'd have to play it again but it is different no doubt about that.
Awwww! I saw your name as the last poster on this thread, and I thought ooh this is going to be good! You weren't posting your rarest thing, though :-( heh. Thanks for the info, though!
the yellow DK64 was limited release I think with some bundles or pre-orders etc. My DK64 is a regular gray gamepak and it's the standard retail game you ll find in the yellow version as well.
Hey, first post, might as well kick things off with a celebration of me! I think the rarest thing I've got in my collection is a boxed copy of Punch-Out!! Special with instructions.
Did you see Ghost Town, the Ricky Gervais film? Is someone going to keep it in a pot? As for the yellow cart, the one talked about is the US release. It was only available in yellow there. We had a standard one.
Well if it's heavily used then it won't be as collectable as one that has been taken out of the bag to test to see if it works.
