And is that a bad thing? With Vista being the pile of shiney crud it is. Although saying that the Japanese are slowly catching up with us, although they still can't seem to make games on the PC that aren't war games (either WW2 or historic) or Hentai games (not a bad thing...).

That's a good thing. They don't risk or waste money on new things, they recycle the old - although i m not aware of the pricing of components in japan.

Vista is a pile of steaming poo, and the only reason i d see myself installing it, is if MS forced major developers to make their apps Vista-only (or games, such as Halo 2 FFS!)

I m perfectly happy with Xp.

What did you get rid of? Please don't say the production unit.

I love the PC-FX just for the obscurity, it's one of the weirdest consoles around especially with the games they released on it! I also don't understand what those guys were smoking! but thanks to them this is one of the easier consoles to collect the games for as with 23 I am already 1/3's away of a full collection ;) doing this for any other console will be a pain i guess..and I don't have enough patience to collect for several consoles and huge amount of games.. I am more in to boxed console collecting.
And seeing you mentioned Dragon Knight IV as rare is quite cool as I bought that one for 15 US or something from ebay ;) actually I never paid more then 20 bucks for pc-fx games except for Zeroigar off course.
And playing on them .. well that's a pain but I like the struggle with Japanese.. I tried a few times to get the Can Can Bunny chicks to undress but with no success until now :p so I stick to Zeroigar and a copy of Zenki to play on that machine.. I like fighters usually but Battle Heat sucks some heavy ass :p

As for the v-saturn, I have the model 2 one.. still looking for the Hitachi model for a nice price and if I'm bored one day the model 1 v-sat will be added too ;) painfully enough I had the hitachi several years ago but you'all know how things go when you need quick cash ;)

(Assuming you mean MD) I guess you didn't see the box of 50 new copies that sold the other day then. Apparently there are loads more where they came from!

Hmm, rarest items... My rarest things that would pertain directly to this website would have to be my 'Mission Control' custom made NES Development system from Rocket Science Productions:
    http://devkits.handheldmuseum.com/NES_MissionControl.htm
The Turbo Grafx JAMMA arcade board seems kind of hard to find too:
    http://devkits.handheldmuseum.com/TurboGrafx_JAMMA/index.htm

Other stuff I have like Nintendo Wideboys, Katana system etc just don't seem as rare when compared to most of you guys... :110:

My main hobby is collecting handheld games, and a couple of my most prized items are:
24K gold plated 1,000,000th Mattel Basketball (see avatar):
    http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Mattel/Proto.html
Coleco Star Trek The Electronic Game test-casting of the case molds:
    http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Coleco/StarTrek.htm
(The game never went into production as far as I know.)
And a MIB (never used) Entex Adventure Vision system with all 3 games sealed... If we are judging strictly on dollars spent, that wins...

Anyone here have a Nintendo Love Tester? :icon_bigg

no, its a GBA prototype board Karsten. That's not a lense, that's just the speaker.

Later models had a screen where the Babu sign is.

The interface to control the device was a wired SNES pad.
