I own an Atari 2700 Prototype System!I also own two copies of the blue Air raid cart on the Atari 2600,This is just a molecule of what rare stuff I own.I do own a Columbia Home Arcade console too! Here are is one of my Air raid blue carts on the Atari 2600!apparently the other picture was too large to post in this forum,in size.ill try again soon.I hope to score more air raid blue carts!
Yes Atari is very much so underrated!its quite sad.Im sure most Atari Games,Prototype games and Systems are much rarer than most other companys, than Nintendo,Sega or Nec!Although the turbografx 16 games are very expensive now! Here are some other pics I can show. The Dragon 32 Computer System,Apf m1000,and the Core Grafx Pc engine.
Well it's not exactly rare, and has since ceased to be valuable and functional but I had an obscure GB game called Rolans Curse 2 but now that it's fried itself my rarest thing is probably my custom black and red Mario ds (still in awful shape though) and my kickstarter exclusive posters.note that RC2. Is missing its label, it was hit by a lawnmower which mauled it off somehow, yet this beautiful chunk of Nintendium suffered almost no other damage and continued to play properly for years
Funny thing, I saw a GTA 3 collection for the PS2 at Walmart a few months back. I was so tempted to buy it lol.
I have a boxed limited edition of The Last Story for the Wii. Also regular editions of Xenoblade Chronicles and Pandora's Tower. For the Gamecube, I have Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.
Well it was only sold to a company in Columbia to only I believe about a dozen workers and never released anywhere else,so its pretty darn rare!I bought it for 1,500 USD if that helps.I have a question myself.Does anyone know where I can buy a Spectravision Hotel Video game System?its so rare, its almost impossible to get.I had one almost sold to me however, the guy sold it to someone else.
Im pretty damn sure any NEC system or PCE console or model is definitley rare.Ever hear of the super grafx or shuttle engine?how about the turbo duo consoles, their prices are way up there.I didnt say they were 1,000s of dollars but they are expensive. Btw Kaicer, were you trying to be a sarcastic troll in this topic thread?
No I wasn't sarcastic I own a core grafx 2 and for real I never new it was consider rare, I know in ebay they spawn high prices but I consider rare hard to find items not consoles or game with high prices. The super grafx is a not so easy to find but the common PC engine are a lot out there the same as the turbo duo or pc engine duo maybe not all of them working but it can be found.
Im pretty sure with time, patience, and persistence,if you put your mind on a extremley rare prototype, rare game or system it will indeed be attainable.I never thought id own a atari 2700,but guess what I found one.I paid 1000s for it though.I never thought id own an Air raid blue cart, let alone two of them, but I do!same goes for the columbia home arcade and other video game system prototypes I own. My point is that even though the PCE consoles can be found.Theres tons of very rare and hard to find items that are very much possible to find. When I look at hard to find video games and systems, their high prices do mean or represent the fact that they are clearly hard to find!High prices need to be taken into consideration for terms of an items rarity and how attainable it really is. can you find Pc Engine systems and different models?Yes!but it sure as hell isnt easy and their prices are absurd!Even if they pop up on ebay in which ever frequency, which ever model you find.if their prices are over 300-600+,It is definitley an expensive and rare system.Lets not forget any of the PCE consoles,Supergrafx,Turbo due,Shuttle engine or the core,if these were in box or new,you would be paying an arm and a leg.I consider price,in terms of considering an items rarity and how hard it is to find. It is also common at times to find very hard to find Turbo grafx 16,PC engine,Super Grafx games but there rarity and high prices.Still makes it and considers it very hard to find.
The Columbia Home Arcade was distributed by the Music Company in America as a mail order thing. I think in Canada, CBS sold it in stores.
Find me the article or proof of this.I heard it was sold thru columbia thru a mail order company for choice few and not sold to the general public. Go to www.ultimateconsoledatabase.com
First of,thats not the Columbia Home arcade console.Yes its based off the gemini but the models that said Columbia home arcade on them, were one in themselves and sold directly in Columbia!for about a dozen employees. It was never sold outside of columbia and was never sold in canada like you said.Your clearly off on this one.The gemini is worth like 40.00 compared to the Columbia Home arcade console can go for a few thousand,it depends.
