    Why bother?
GCOS needs a BBA to load or upload games, you can't run games unless you have an original disc in (you would have a blank disc) and uploading would only work on original GC discs which are mainly all already dumped...
And it's just easier to get PSO with the BBA and use that method.

PSO... little bit annoying although i have a BBA and could try that method
but i think i prefer SD Media launcher :p but my dols can't be put on Viper GC extreme flash :s any other fast methods that doesn't require wasting a dvd-r or a few disc swaps?

You can put DOLs on viper, but you need to use the program to convert where they run from, forgot the name of it, but it's on eurasia's download site I believe.
Command line, so you run it as: file.exe (some argument here) file.dol output
    You need the Viper argument!

I have my Viper normal setup with GCOS as a plugin so I can send the starcube loader over to that and then run starcube itself.

PSO+BBA also limits you to 10mbit and some images flat out won't work with it (Resident Evil 4 E3 demo floating around).

Congrats on bumping a 4 month old topic btw.

I remember playing the RE4 demo without any problems using Starcube's GC Simulator
having the right network card made a big difference too

There's the 100Mbit version of the starcube loader, it only works up-to 27Mbit though and errr, it's still laggy on intros and whatnot.

Bomberman games do not run at all (I'm guessing because of how they access movie files)

    That's the one!
The only problem i've had with Bomberman Generation was the sound- no music possibly due to audio streaming?

I'm going to assume you're joking on having the "right" network card. We aren't running ISA vs EISA cards here, they all universally work about 99% the same unless you've got some craptacaular drivers, a router that hates you and/or has a badly configured QoS setup or you ran your cat5 right next to an unshielded 240v line to your welding equipment.

And I'm talking about the E3 demo with debug support. It wouldn't run past the initial menu and it was reported across the board that you NEEDED a modchip and mini dvd-r to play it. Everyone.

Okay that wasn't the demo i played.
I'm not joking about the network card. Tried a few and when i got the Netgear FA311 (i think it was that one that STARCUBE suggested) the difference was more than noticeable i assure you
