I'm starting to suspect you get some kind of commission for promoting that game. I suggest you check out Contra 4, Star Fox Command, Mario Vs Donkey Kong 2, Pokemon (Diamond and/or Pearl Versions), Mega Man ZX, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin. There are ofcourse more fun games but those are what came to mind.
I believe Daigasso 1 was never released in the U.S. because the source code was lost and so localization could not have been done. This is what I have heard -- no sources on it though, but at least it's a better explanation than most we never directly receive. Or, quirkiness.
I dunno, i think it has to do with that there was just alot of songs on the card that were'nt great hits (or ever hits) in the USA....i still remember when it was shown for the gba back in 2000!
POLARIUM! The time attack is soul-destroying, but the puzzles are brilliant. The GBA version (Polarium Advance) is worth a look too. A Polarium for every day of the year *drools*! Mario vs Donkey Kong 2, Warioware, and Mario Kart are also favourites of mine.
Pokémon Diamond/Pearl Meteos Mario Kart DS The Japanese downloadable DS demos on the Wii Nintendo Channel are often worth a look as well. ;-)
If you liked Starfox64 try Command: worth a play even when the controls are a bit crap IMO. We should make a "best of" list by genre.
I have an unusually large DS collection...so I'll chime in.... Recommend: Sonic Brain Age Pokemon Mario 64 New Super Mario Metroid Prime Hunter (Awesome! Espcially if you like FPS) Elite Beat Agents (You owe yourself this one...its sooooo cheap). Pac N' Roll (Surprisingly fun) Rayman (Great if you can tolerate the non 3D controls) Madden 2005 (its a little bit unpolished, but I got it cheap and I was surprisingly satisfied) Feel The Magic Theme Park (If you've never played the PC version its definitely worth a shot) Avoids: All of these I just found to be...unfun... Star Fox Command Cooking Mama Polarium Nintendogs
Hmm, Theme Park? What was the PC version like? I own the European SNES version. I hope it was not as different as SimCity... It's really a shame SimCity DS is not a "sequel" of the SNES version, which is STILL my favorite SimCity game. --- Back to topic: Does anyone know bioum and くるくるトンズラン? Really cool DS minigames! Too bad they're not being offered in the Minna no Nintendo Channel... as they'll never go on sale. :-(
for adventure games: hotel dusk, the phoenix wright series, professor layton and its sequels (if/when they arrive). i guess add touch detective and trace memory as lower priority recommendations. for rpgs: etrian odyssey, mystery dungeon: shiren the wanderer, the world ends with you. i'm personally looking forward to space invaders extreme and arkanoid ds, as they seem to be pac man c.e. style remakes that make interesting refinements to the original games. i might be alone on that one. and for what it's worth, i really disliked dementium. great atmosphere at first but i found the overall design very boring and generic, with sudden and unfriendly spikes of difficulty.
The SNES version of SimCity is the best  I couldn't agree more, I just love that game :icon_bigg On the other hand, I would recommend: Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass BrainAge FF III Mario 64 New Super Mario Bros. Mario Kart Pokemon Diamond/Pearl And you could give a shot to Nintendo Channel on the Wii, you can download demos for the DS, that may come in handy when deciding which game to buy, anyway there are not many demos to download right now.
Another vote for Canvas Course. It's really a great game. And it seems like i have to give Hotel Dusk a chance soon...
