I can really recommand Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 1 and 2 (same for Elite Beat agents, but I didn't really like most songs). I'll look up some more and post them later. :)

EDIT: Ofcourse Hotel Dusk too! Great game! :D

Just finished (about 20min ago :D) Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Really good game I must say. Would recommend it.
They've apparently recently released a port of Panel De Pon (Tetris Attack) on DS under the name Planet Puzzle League so I would probably recommend it too unless they've really f-ed up something in it. I know I will buy it as soon as I can. :)

    edit:
Hotel Dust! (haven't had time time to play it yet thought, will start tonight :) )

@above posters: edit your posts to include Hotel Dusk, come on:p :p

The game is not hard, but it draws you in in a way that you're feeling you're actually in the middle of an arizona desert motel , solving a wacky mystery. I pray for a sequel every weekend.

The Castlevania games are pretty cool and will keep you busy for a long time. I quit playing at the final boss because I couldn't beat him, though.

I've been playing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Warioware is a classic DS game. I also like Ouendan/Elite beat. Phantom Hourglass was great too.

have none of you played Hotel Dusk?!

Seriously, get to it, pronto! You won't regret it the least bit. Anyone who has played it will probably praise it as the best game on the DS.

also a good horror first-person surviror: Dementium: The Ward

I am surprised not a single person has mentioned Kirby: Canvas Curse. If you want a game that was born for touch controls and uses them perfectly, this is it. great little platformer-type game, I beat it numerous times. Probably pretty cheap now too.
