Didn't know that. Well let's just say console exclusive then. I guess most 360 exclusives also get released on pc?
The thing is: Most of these games were first released on the 3DO - mostly because it was the first CD console out there (apart from the PC Engine CD-rom). That being said, the producers back then didn't have a firm grasp on how to fill the big space they suddenly had compared to the cartridges, so the full-motion-video-horror began. Still, the american lasergames shooter were quite fun for some time, and there were a few other gems. Also, the capability of daisy-chaining controllers almost endlessly made for some interesting gaming sessions - if you never played a sports game with 5 or more friends at the same time you surely missed out on something
Total Eclipse came out on the SEGA Saturn as well. But it was a different version. The Saturn version was a different story and used live actors for it's cut scene . The 3DO didn't and like I said it was a different story. =Hugh
Taiketsu Rumi-Zu! great multiplayer game just found this gem a few days ago. its like bomber man with water. took me a few plays with my firend to get the hang of it. really fun afterwards. also on ps1, i like the 3do one a little better. both seem hard too find.
are you sure you're not mistaking it for "Solar Eclipse"? (With Claudia Christian, Commander Ivanova in a space game - totally fitting )
Space Hulk got a Saturn release too, didn't it? I don't personally think it's the best example of a FPS, but the Warhammer 40k video games are so uncommon that the fans tend to take what they can get.
Buy my copy of Alone in the Dark 2 (boxed) and I'll throw in a copy of Alone in the Dark. EDIT: So I can buy beer
Super Wing Commander. It's essentially a remake of the DOS game, with much more perty. Super WC is only otherwise available on Mac for some crazy reason. Hard to play without a joystick though.
